Scheduling Assistant

X-Act Finish & Trim Inc. is a specialized construction company that installs a wide range of wood working materials for both single and multi-family homes throughout Southern California. We are currently looking for a Scheduling Assistant to join our purchasing team at our Corona-based office. This person will be responsible for maintaining clear communication throughout the office and field to ensure accurate and timely scheduling of material for installation.

Day-to-day tasks will consist of the following:

- Adjusting Excel files as needed to keep material drop-offs up to date and on time.

- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to jobsites through daily communication with Supervisors, Superintendents & X-Act’s Purchasing Department.

- Follow up on purchase orders to adjust arrival dates as needed for timely delivery.

- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate prices for purchasing.

- Maintaining proper communication with our in-house shop to ensure woodworking material is prepared and ready to be delivered.

- Maintain customer service driven attitude when delivering and answering phone calls.

Qualifications:

- General Excel Knowledge (Required)

- Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Outlook)

- QuickBooks experience (preferred)

- Bilingual (Optional)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 - $25.00

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schudule:

Monday to Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm)

Weekends as needed
