Job Description

This role is responsible for scheduling fuel deliveries to a network of close to 3,000 stations, ensuring reliable and efficient distribution across a multi-state territory. The position requires strong coordination skills and collaboration across multiple areas of the supply chain, including station demand forecasting, volume allocation, terminal supply, and carrier management.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize inventory management and optimization tools to support efficient scheduling of more than 2.5 billion gallons of fuel annually.

Coordinate delivery schedules for over 300,000 loads per year across 22 states, aligning station demand with available manpower and equipment from company and third-party carriers.

Balance product volumes from a network of 230+ terminals and 75 suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and operational efficiency.

Develop an understanding of economic and operational factors influencing delivery and supply chain decisions.

Demonstrate a Guest In Mind approach in all customer interactions, providing exceptional service as part of the Central Scheduling team.

Collaborate professionally with fleet supervisors, drivers, and carrier partners to ensure smooth delivery execution.

Identify and assist in resolving loading or scheduling issues that impact delivery timelines.

Communicate supply disruptions or delays promptly and effectively to customers.

Recognize process inefficiencies within scheduling operations and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
