Scheduling Coordinator

Admire Dental is expanding! We are looking for l Scheduling Coordinators to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Along with being the first point of contact for our dental office, our Scheduling Coordinator’s duties include offering administrative support to the doctor on staff, dental assistants and hygienists, and others across the organization. To be successful as a Scheduling Coordinator, the ideal candidate would be personable, high energy and pleasant as this is also a customer service role. Multitasking and time management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a Scheduling Coordinator’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes patients positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is sanitized, presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Perform other clerical administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
  • File patient documents

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Scheduling Coordinator, Front Office Representative or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
