The Opportunity:
Washington State University's College of Arts & Sciences is now accepting applications for a Scholarship & Fellowship Program Coordinator. This role is central to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) commitment to the success of the colleges development funds related to utilization of scholarships, fellowships, awards and travel funds. As the Scholarship & Fellowship Program Coordinator you will be responsible for the oversight, comprehensive administration, management, and coordination of the CAS student support fund process including, but not limited to, application, awarding and monitoring of student support funds for the college, schools, departments, and other units. You will also coordinate with University offices such as Financial Aid, Study Abroad, International Programs, and other internal/external entities. Additionally, you will also be responsible for creating and maintaining databases, preparing reports, creating and maintaining confidential files, and serving as the backup for the Dean’s office front desk as needed. Based on experience, we are hiring a Program Coordinator or a Program Assistant.
Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
This is an on-site/in-person position located in Pullman, WA.
Monthly Salary:
Program Coordinator : $3,665.00 to $4,882.00 | Range 41 | Steps A - M
Program Assistant: $3,495.00 to $4,653.00 | Range 39 | Steps A - M
Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications Program Coordinator:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience coordinating or administering scholarships, financial aid processes or gift use documentation, or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications Program Assistant:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience.
Required Qualifications for All Applicants:
Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Experience generating reports from a database and multiple data sources.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications for All Applicants:
Prior experience/knowledge of standard professional development processes.
Experience in higher education, including knowledge of general operations, policies, and procedures.
Experience working with databases.
Experience with the Workday system.
