Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and qualified School Nurse to provide healthcare services to students and staff, promote health education, and manage medical emergencies on campus. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric or school nursing and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid, emergency care, and health assessments to students and staff during school hours.
• Maintain and update medical records, health files, and immunization reports of students.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor health conditions as per doctor’s advice.
• Handle medical emergencies and coordinate with nearby hospitals or clinics when required.
• Promote health, hygiene, and wellness awareness through workshops and counseling.
• Conduct routine health screenings (vision, hearing, height, weight, etc.).
• Maintain stock of medical supplies, first-aid kits, and ensure timely replenishment.
• Support the school’s health and safety protocols during events, sports activities, and field trips.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and management on student health concerns.
• Prepare periodic health reports for school management.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent clinical and first-aid skills.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive during emergencies.
• Proficient in record keeping and basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Familiarity with child and adolescent health issues.
