Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and file all required export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (HBL/MBL), and the mandatory Sea Departure Manifest (SDM).
  • SCMTR Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with SCMTR timelines and data requirements, including providing precise cargo details such as HSN codes, invoice values, and IEC/PAN details of the shipper/consignor to customs before the vessel departs the Indian port.
  • Electronic Filing: Manage the electronic submission of the Cargo Summary Notification (CSN) and the Departure Manifest through the ICEGATE portal or integrated logistics software.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise effectively with internal sales, customer service, and operations teams, as well as external parties including freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and statutory authorities.
  • Shipment Monitoring: Track and monitor the status of all export shipments, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays or issues related to customs clearance or transit.
  • Record Keeping & Auditing: Maintain accurate and organised records of all export transactions and documentation to facilitate internal and external audits.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay informed of changes in international trade legislation and SCMTR guidelines, implementing necessary adjustments to processes and advising management on potential impacts.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries regarding shipment status, documentation requirements, and regulatory compliance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
