Campana Systems applies its in-depth knowledge and experience to maintain leadership in providing an evolving suite of integrated software and service solutions for AAA/CAA auto clubs. Campana offers Member Relationship Management tools that interface seamlessly with AXIS Membership, Travel, Point-of-Sale, and Emergency Road Service.

The Position
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to join our software development team. This intermediate-level role goes beyond facilitation—it involves hands-on implementation of Agile processes, especially in legacy software environments. The ideal candidate will coach teams, manage Agile workflows using tools like JIRA, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. This role also includes training, mentoring others in Agile practices and helping scale Agile adoption across teams.
The selected individual will work from the Contour Software Karachi office, as part of the resource-center team, functioning as an extension of the onshore R&D team.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to Scrum teams, ensuring proper implementation of Agile practices.
  • Assess team and organizational Agile maturity and provide targeted coaching to improve.
  • Remove team-level impediments and help the team focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
  • Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions.
  • Help refine backlogs, clarify priorities, and maintain alignment between development and business goals.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a healthy product backlog is maintained, and that items are well-defined and prioritized.
  • Track and report Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts, sprint health etc.) to stakeholders.
  • Foster a high-trust, safe environment where problems can be raised and resolved collaboratively.
  • Guide the team in continuous improvement practices.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and work closely with QA, DevOps, Solutions Architects and Product Management teams.
  • Participate in organization-wide Agile maturity initiatives and help scale Agile practices.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
  • Must be comfortable managing Agile processes in legacy software environments.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern development practices (CI/CD, DevOps).
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore teams.
  • Knowledge of Kanban or SAFe frameworks.
  • Background in software engineering or QA is a plus.
  • Experience in tools like Jira, Confluence for collaboration and documentation.
