Role Description:
The
Search Specialist (SEO & SEM) supports the execution and optimization of SEO and paid search campaigns across Google, Bing, and Google Merchant Center in a fast pace environment for Spoonflower, a notable brand in the eCommerce space. Responsibilities include managing campaign setup, improving onsite SEO, coordinating testing with partners, analyzing performance data, and providing actionable insights. The position also involves monitoring competitors, troubleshooting technical issues, and staying current on industry trends. Candidates should have 2–3 years of SEO/SEM experience, strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive mindset with a desire to grow in digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:-
Drive Search Program Execution: Support the setup and day-to-day execution of SEO and paid search campaigns across Google, Bing, and Google Merchant Center. Keep action items, timelines, and deliverables organized to ensure smooth campaign performance.

Advance Onsite SEO Optimization: Work with Merchandising and eCommerce teams to execute SEO content optimizations for new and existing pages. Support keyword execution and alignment, track rankings using BrightEdge and Google Search Console, and monitor site performance to identify technical issues or opportunities for improvement.

Support Testing & Optimization: Collaborate with Creative and Media partners to coordinate testing calendars, product feeds, and ad assets. Track performance of ad copy, feeds, and landing pages, using data to provide insights and guide future optimizations.

Deliver Insightful Reporting: Collect, organize, and analyze data across SEO and SEM platforms. Summarize findings into clear, actionable insights using Adobe Analytics and Looker Studio, highlighting opportunities or performance shifts for the team.

Monitor Competition & Industry Trends: Keep an eye on competitor strategies, keyword movements, and ad activity. Stay up to date with search engine algorithm changes, platform updates, and industry news, surfacing opportunities to stay ahead and adapt strategies proactively.

Tracking and Tech: Assist in troubleshooting feed errors, disapproved ads, ranking fluctuations, or data inconsistencies. Use structured problem-solving and collaboration to help resolve issues quickly.

Industry thought leadership: Enrich expertise by learning from teammates, exploring new tools, and staying current on search and e-commerce trends. Take initiative to build skills across SEO, SEM, and analytics while contributing to the team’s success.
Qualifications:-
2–3 years of experience in SEO and paid search execution; e-commerce experience is a plus

Familiarity with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), Google Merchant Center, BrightEdge, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, and Looker Studio

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.
California : [$62,750-$89,000]
Connecticut and New York: [$62,750-$81,500]
Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and Washington: [$62,750-$75,500]
Nevada: [$59,000-$81,500]
Maryland and New Jersey: [$67,750-$81,500]
Hawaii : [$59,000 – $71,000]
