The role requires a strong blend of pharmacovigilance subject matter expertise, regulatory and healthcare-sector knowledge, consulting-style project delivery capability, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings, coordinated shop drawings, and as-built documentation for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements, UAE regulations, and industry standards.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Prepare and develop detailed MEP shop drawings, coordinated construction drawings, and as-built drawings for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.</li><li>Produce layouts, sections, schematics, riser diagrams, installation details, and builders&rsquo; work drawings in accordance with project specifications and design requirements.</li><li>Translate consultant drawings, design markups, and engineering inputs into accurate technical documentation for execution.</li><li>Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and multidisciplinary drawings to ensure clash-free and integrated documentation.</li><li>Support MEP coordination and clash detection using BIM workflows and assist in resolving technical conflicts before construction.</li><li>Prepare combined services drawings and coordinated ceiling layouts where required.</li><li>Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, RFIs, and project changes.</li><li>Assist in preparing authority submission drawings and documentation in line with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM), Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), Civil Defense, ADDC/AADC (where applicable), and other regulatory requirements.</li><li>Support preparation and review of technical submittals, builders&rsquo; work coordination drawings, and shop drawing submissions for consultant approval.</li><li>Conduct site visits, verify dimensions, update redline markups, and prepare accurate as-built documentation.</li><li>Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and compliance with company CAD/BIM standards and project documentation procedures.</li><li>Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, constructability requirements, and approved design intent.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably within the UAE.</li><li>Proven experience preparing MEP shop drawings and coordinated construction documentation.</li><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, electrical, and firefighting systems.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.</li><li>Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and BIM coordination is highly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with UAE authority regulations, submission requirements, and relevant codes and standards.</li><li>Strong understanding of MEP coordination, construction detailing, and installation practices.</li><li>High attention to detail, technical accuracy, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively with engineers, consultants, and site teams.</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month</p><p>Application Question(s):</p><ul><li>How many years of experience do you have as an MEP Draftsman?</li><li> How many years of experience do you have in the UAE?</li><li>Do you have experience preparing MEP shop drawings and coordinated construction drawings?</li><li>Which disciplines have you worked on: HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Electrical, Firefighting?</li><li>Do you have experience coordinating MEP drawings with architectural and structural drawings?</li><li>Are you familiar with UAE authority submissions and approvals related to MEP works?</li><li>What is your current monthly salary (AED)?</li><li>What is your expected monthly salary (AED)?</li><li>Are you available to join in Abu Dhabi, UAE?</li><li>What is your notice period?</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
