In this role you will work within a multidisciplinary consultancy team to deliver the planning and detailed design of wet utility networks for infrastructure and land development projects in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. The role focuses on design and authority approvals rather than site execution, covering potable water, fire-fighting, irrigation, foul sewer, and stormwater systems in line with Abu Dhabi authority standards.</p><p></p><p><b>
What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing</b></p><ul><li><p>
Design wet utility systems, including potable water networks, irrigation, fire-fighting networks, sewerage and stormwater systems, manholes, chambers, appurtenances, pumping stations, wet wells, and storage/tank facilities.</p></li><li><p>
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and schematics using CAD software.</p></li><li><p>
Develop hydraulic models to analyze and optimize system performance.</p></li><li><p>
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine project requirements.</p></li><li><p>
Perform calculations for pipe sizing, flow rates, pressure losses, and system capacities.</p></li><li><p>
Evaluate environmental and topographical data to ensure proper system integration.</p></li><li><p>
Prepare technical reports, design specifications, and bill of quantities (BOQ).</p></li><li><p>
Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, codes, and standards.</p></li><li><p>
Work closely with architects, urban planners, and other engineering disciplines to integrate wet utility systems into broader infrastructure projects.</p></li><li><p>
Identify and resolve design challenges or site-specific issues during the design and construction phases.</p></li><li><p>
Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information).</p></li><li><p>
