About the Role

What you will do
You will develop and expand existing and new National Accounts within a defined territory. Provide input such as, relevant market information, sales and marketing strategies, vision and goals. How you will do it 
Achieve targeted sales growth for National Accounts at a rate and profit margin consistent with the national business plan. Drive wider and deeper account penetration with new and existing accounts through frequent proactive contact with accounts; building, growing and maintaining positive relationships with multiple departments (facilities, loss prevention, IT, finance) and key decision makers at multiple levels within customer organizations. Formulate a sound business plan to provide acceptable sales growth in accordance with established plan and market share targets.
Work with Sales Director to meet profitability goals. Ensure responsiveness and service delivery through utilization of internal infrastructure including Customer Monitoring Centers (CMC&rsquo;s), National Account Service Center (NASC), Business Operations, support team, and Johnson Controls sales &amp; service offices (SSO&rsquo;s). Acts as a central point of contact to service existing or assigned account&rsquo;s needs and requests.

 Qualifications and Experience</h3><ul><li>
University degree; Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master's degree in life science, marketing, management, or a business-related field</li><li>
Excellent knowledge of the Healthcare industry and CRO business particularly</li><li>
Minimum of 5 years BD experience within CRO business development, focused on the Midwestern region (additional experience on the West Coast will be taken as an advantage)</li><li>
Excellent communication skills and team leadership capabilities consistent with influencing and driving multiple stakeholders toward meeting customers&rsquo; and Optimapharm&rsquo;s needs</li><li>

Sales Leadership<ul><li>
To develop and maintain positive and effective client relationships</li><li>

Creating business opportunities through all channels, including industry relationships and networks</li><li>
Working with operational colleagues to proactively resolve sponsor issues and secure repeat business</li><li>
