<div><p>Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Specialist Engineer, Architectural/Civil for our client ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi as part of our instrument engineering within our Oil, Gas &amp; New Energies business.
</p><p>Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

<br><div><p>The Specialist Enginer, Architectural/Civil is responsible for providing technical oversight, design review, engineering coordination, and construction support for architectural and civil works associated with offshore oil &amp; gas facilities. The role ensures that EPC contractor deliverables comply with project specifications, international codes, client requirements, and safety standards while supporting timely project execution.
</p><ul><li>Review EPC contractor engineering deliverables related to architectural and civil disciplines.
</li><li>Verify compliance with project specifications, client standards, and international codes.
</li><li>Review drawings, material specifications, design calculations, and engineering reports.
</li><li>Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews and HAZID/HAZOP workshops where applicable.
</li><li>Ensure constructability and maintainability are incorporated into the design.
</li><li>Monitor EPC contractor engineering progress and quality.
</li><li>Provide technical clarification and resolve engineering issues.
</li><li>Review Technical Queries (TQs), Site Queries (SQs), and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
</li><li>Support management of deviations, concessions, and design modifications.
</li><li>Support offshore construction activities.
</li><li>Review construction procedures and method statements.
</li><li>Participate in site inspections and technical audits.
</li><li>Resolve field engineering issues.
</li><li>Review non-conformance reports (NCRs) and recommend corrective actions.

</p><p><b>Expected
</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
</li><li>Master's degree is an advantage.
</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent certification is preferred
</li><li>Minimum 15+ years of experience in civil/architectural engineering.
</li><li>At least 5 years in PMC or Owner's Engineer roles.
</li><li>Experience with offshore oil &amp; gas projects, including:
<ul><li>Offshore platforms
</li><li>Jackets
</li><li>Topsides
</li><li>FPSO
</li><li>Offshore substations
</li></ul></li><li>Experience with FEED, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.
</li><li>Strong experience in multidisciplinary engineering coordination.</li></ul></div>
