 Duties And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 To ensure that all bedrooms, lecture rooms, toilets and public areas are cleaned at all times to the required standards and checked daily, being aware of any additional tasks that may require attention and ensuring faults are rectified by the Room Attendants.
 
 
 To update the computer system on a regular basis throughout the day with the room status.
 
 
 To manage the periodic checklists used by the Supervisors, providing support and feedback as appropriate.
 
 
 To ensure that the cleaning store rooms, section cupboards, trolleys and equipment are kept tidy and secured at the end of the working day.
 
 
 To ensure all special requests for guests are carried out.
 
 
 To ensure that all departmental keys and communication units issued are signed for, and returned correctly at the end of the shift.
 
 
 To carry out regular stock checks of all cleaning materials, toiletries and linen and order supplies as required from the nominated suppliers.
 
 
 To assist the Housekeeping Manager with any budget preparation and suggestions / requirements for renewals and improvements.
 
 
 To ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working order and used correctly, ensuring that safety procedures are adhered to.
 
 
 To maintain Health &amp; Safety regulations within the Department and to ensure that Health &amp; Safety procedures are carried out at all times.
 
 
 To be fully aware of the Fire regulations and ensure that the correct procedures are followed at all times.
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 At least 4 years practical experience in similar position for a luxury property
 
 
 Adheres to, supports and carries out the strategic Company&rsquo;s vision and values
 
 
 Displays high commitment to improving guest services
 
 
 Ability to motivate team and build morale
 
 
 Ability to anticipate and assess issues, risks and opportunities and develop new approaches
 
 
 Proven experience of monitoring quality standards and identifying and dealing with any performance issues.
 
 
 Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels within the organisation
 
 
 Knowledge of Health and Safety relevant to the role
 
 
 Experience of using specialist cleaning equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and infrastructure systems</li>
<li>Execute preventive and periodic maintenance in line with maintenance schedules and maintain proper documentation</li>
<li>Conduct root cause analysis for technical failures and implement permanent solutions</li>
<li>Monitor energy consumption and propose efficiency improvements</li>
<li>Coordinate and supervise external service providers, ensuring compliance with technical specifications</li>
<li>Ensure all systems are fully operational through routine inspections and timely interventions</li>
<li>Follow up and ensure completion of legally required technical inspections</li>
<li>Supervise maintenance and inspection contractors on-site</li>
<li>Provide technical support to all hotel departments and ensure uninterrupted operations</li>
<li>Monitor renovation works and ensure compliance with technical specifications</li>
<li>Supervise contractors during renovation projects and report progress to headquarters</li>
<li>Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and architectural works comply with fire safety regulations</li>
<li>Manage insurance claim notifications and follow up reimbursement processes</li>
<li>Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with contractual agreements</li>
<li>Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational needs</li>
<li>Ensure the day-to-day operation of the departments office duties and general administration is completed competently and in a given time.</li>
<li>Attend and report to Director of Engineering &amp; Assistant Director of Engineering any actions or action plans that may arise from inspections by the local authorities.</li>
<li>Engineering Manager this position dictates you becoming a senior member of the Resort's emergency response team</li>
<li>Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.</li>
<li>To ensure that the Engineering Departments and Hotels Policy and Procedures are followed at all times.</li>

Requirements

<li>Minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience as Engineering Manager in Luxury Resorts</li>

<li>Prior experience in facilities such as hotels, shopping malls, residences, or hospitals</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office applications</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible schedule</li>
<li>Strong planning and organizational skills with proven team management experience</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of quality management systems and certification processes</li>
<li>EKAT certification is preferred</li>
