  This role sits within the Project Execution Department and reports directly to the Project Manager, working closely with Senior Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and commercial and planning teams to ensure seamless project execution.

 </p>

  As a Project Engineer &ndash; Mechanical / Plumbing, you will manage engineering deliverables for the assigned scope, ensuring statutory approvals, procurement, and technical documentation align with project specifications and programme requirements.

   Responsibilities
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Ensure all contract specifications, consultant requirements, and statutory regulations are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare and manage material submittals ensuring compliance with project specifications and consultant requirements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain a material approval register and ensure timely submission and approvals.
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare method statements and risk assessments in line with project HSE and QA/QC requirements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage and track procurement schedules and long-lead items, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  </li>
  <li>
   Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage and coordinate engineering drawings and documentation, ensuring approved drawings are issued to site teams.
  </li>
  <li>
   Supervise engineering coordination with drafting teams and maintain a drawing submittal tracker and look-ahead schedule.
  </li>
  <li>
   Support value engineering initiatives and prepare material take-offs with Senior Engineers and Construction Managers.
  </li>
  <li>
   Review design, engineering, and installation details to ensure compliance with project specifications and performance requirements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure installations meet quality standards and programme milestones.
  </li>
  <li>
   Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems operate as per design and project requirements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates and engineering support.
  </li>
  <li>
   Identify and resolve technical issues on site to maintain safety, quality, and programme targets.
  </li>

   Skills and Competencies
  </strong>

   Essential
  </strong>
 </p>

   Strong understanding of MEP systems, particularly mechanical and plumbing installations.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience managing engineering deliverables, drawings, submittals, and procurement tracking.
  </li>

   Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, and project programme coordination.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong coordination skills with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in MS Office and Autodesk Revit.
  </li>

   Qualifications &amp; Experience
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>

   Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  </li>
  <li>
   10+ years of experience in engineering roles within construction, MEP, or fit-out projects.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning.
  </li>
  <li>
   Good understanding of local and international engineering codes and standards.
  </li>
