<p>Job Summary</p><p>We are seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman with 7&ndash;10 years of UAE/GCC experience in District Cooling Plants and Chilled Water Pipeline projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings related to chilled water networks, plant piping systems, and associated MEP services.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Prepare shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings for chilled water pipeline and district cooling plant projects.</li><li>Draft layouts for CHW supply &amp; return pipelines, valve chambers, expansion joints, and pipe supports.</li><li>Prepare coordinated MEP drawings for pumps, heat exchangers, chillers, piping manifolds, and plant room equipment.</li><li>Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, civil, and instrumentation teams.</li><li>Revise drawings based on site conditions and consultant comments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ADDC/Tabreed/consultant standards and project specifications.</li><li>Maintain drawing revisions, records, and submission logs.</li><li>Assist engineers in preparing technical submissions and quantity take-offs.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p>Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.</p><p>7&ndash;10 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman.</p><p>Strong experience in District Cooling Plant and Chilled Water Pipeline projects.</p><p>Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.</p><p>Knowledge of Civil 3D and Revit MEP is an added advantage.</p><p>Good understanding of district cooling network layouts, piping isometrics, and plant equipment arrangements.</p><p>UAE/GCC project experience is mandatory.</p><p>Preferred Experience</p><ul><li>District Cooling Plants (DCP)</li><li>Chilled Water Transmission &amp; Distribution Networks</li><li>Pre-insulated Steel Piping Systems</li><li>Valve Chambers &amp; Underground Utility Corridors</li><li>Pump Rooms &amp; Energy Transfer Stations (ETS)</li><li>Plant Room MEP Coordination</li><li>As-built Documentation &amp; Utility Record Drawings</li></ul><p>Immediate joining preferred.</p><p>Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>

1. Acting as a focal point of contact between Head Office and Country CAD teams on the matters related to CAD.

2. Preparing and reviewing various consolidated reports for CAD-International.
<br>
3. Overseeing Loan Documentation managed by County CAD teams by periodic review of data maintained in GLCMS and Core Banking System.
<br>
4. Publishing reports on the data maintained in the systems and liaising with Country CAD teams on the corrective actions.
<br>
5. Assisting Country CAD teams in drafting the CAD Standard Operating Procedures and liaising with Group Operational Risk for review and finalization.
<br>
6. Evaluating the efficacy of CAD Standard Operating Producers and associated checks and control for Country CAD teams on an ongoing basis.
<br>
7. Reviewing the Country Audit reports and liaising with Country CAD teams in timely closure of the internal and external audit observations.
<br>
8. Completing the annual Risk and Control Assessment exercise (RCSA) as required and perform control testing.
<br>
9. Maintaining and update the Annual Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for the Unit, conduct business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessment to identify critical functions/processes.
<br>
10. Developing strategies and preventive control measures to mitigate credit and operational risks in CAD processes.<br>

<b>Administration:
</b><br>
1. Conducting gap analysis and peer review of CAD processes and collating enhancement needs to better support Country CAD teams&rsquo; requirements.
<br>
2. Preparation and periodic review of training manuals for Country CAD teams covering system and process.
<br>
3. Organizing and conducting semi-annual CAD Academy training sessions and conducting periodic system and functional training for international branches.
<br>
4. Arranging periodic communication forums with the key stakeholders in Head Office and the International branches.
<br>
5. Attending fortnightly communication forums with CAD Cluster Heads and track action plans.
<br>
6. Conducting quarterly video conference calls with Cluster Heads, Country CAD teams and developing key action plans for tracking and implementation.<br>

<b>Systems:
</b><br>
1. Representing CAD-International as an SME during various projects implementation.
<br>
2. Collaborating with IT and CAD Projects team on system enhancements as and when requested from Country CAD teams.
<br>
3. Reviewing and signing off various system related documents from a CAD perspective including BRDs, Design Documents, Solution Designs, and Migration Approach etc.

4. Carrying out the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on system enhancements and participating in data migration and validation exercises.<br>

<p>The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the day- to-day technical execution and site delivery of the Civil Condition Assessment Project for Client. The role leads inspection, testing, structural assessment, and reporting activities across assigned plant divisions, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with contractual requirements, Client Engineering Standards, and Bureau Veritas Quality and HSE Management Systems. The Senior Project Engineer supports the Project Manager in planning, resourcing, and client coordination, and acts as the senior technical authority on site.</p>
</div><div><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h1>
 <p>Technical Execution</p>
 <p>Lead and supervise civil and structural condition assessment activities across assigned facilities.</p>
 <p>Plan and execute visual inspections, concrete investigations (NDT, core sampling, half-cell potential, carbonation, chloride proﬁling), laboratory testing, and structural assessments.</p>
 <p>Interpret inspection and test results, determine deterioration mechanisms, and develop repair recommendations and prioritisation.</p>
 <p>Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with project speciﬁcations, Client Engineering Standards, international codes, and Bureau Veritas procedures.</p>
 <p>Prepare, check, and consolidate technical reports for Project Manager review and client submission.</p>
 <p>Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, inspectors, and technicians.</p><br>

 <p>Ensure adequate manpower, equipment, and consumables are mobilised in line with the plan.</p>

 <p>Ensure full compliance with Client HSE requirements and Bureau Veritas HSE procedures on site.</p>
 <p>Prepare and implement Risk Assessments, Method Statements, JSAs, and Permit-to-Work documentation.</p>
 <p>Conduct toolbox talks, site HSE inspections, and safety observations.</p>
 <p>Report and investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions.</p>
 <p>Promote and reinforce a Zero Incident culture.</p><br>

<p>Ensure inspection, testing, and reporting activities comply with ISO 9001 and project quality requirements.</p>

<p>Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.</p>
<p>Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in condition assessment, asset integrity, or structural inspection projects.</p>
 </div><div><p>Experience on similar or other major oil &amp; gas facilities is highly desirable.</p>
 <p>Professional certiﬁcation (e.g. ACI Concrete Inspector, ASNT/NDT Level II, UAE Society of Engineers registration) is an advantage.</p>
 <p>Valid UAE driving licence preferred.</p><br>
