In this role, you will be required to spearhead the development and implementation of advanced cargo analytics and optimization strategies. Accountabilities</b></h2>
</div><div><p><b>
Key Accountabilities:</b></p>
<p><b>Cargo Management and compliance:</b><br>
1. Ensure that the vessels are operated in a manner which is safe, reliable and economical and meets the highest industry standards. This shall ensure efficiency in cargo management.<br>
2. Drive compliance with international, Flag State, legal requirements and all company policies related to shipping operations, safety of navigation and Marine personnel at all times. The Marine Operations Superintendent shall also ensure complete compliance with, port / terminals requirements, oil / gas majors and ship vetting systems.<br>
3. Ensure that the trading certification of vessels is valid and avoid failure due to non-compliance.<br>
4. Act as owner&rsquo;s / operator&rsquo;s representative for all commercial STS and ESTS.</p>
<p><b>Vetting of Vessels:</b><br>
5. Ensure that vessels in the fleet are vetted successfully by arranging timely SIRE / CDI inspections, giving prompt responses to any observations raised, initiate remedial actions and identify and mitigate gaps in policies and procedures.<br>
6. Manage the entry of details from the VPQ into the SIRE system as well as maintain the relevant vessels particulars data not limited to TMSA and Q88 records.</p>
<p><b>Audits and Ship Inspections:</b><br>
7. Conduct ship inspections on a regular basis, as per safety management system SMS / ISM to ensure effective ship management during calls to Ras Laffan or sailing visit. In these visits, he/she shall carry out internal audits not limited to navigational, galley and cargo audits.<br>
8. Conduct safety / security / environmental and other SHEQ internal audits as applicable.<br>
9. Supervise the close-out of audits and inspections of ships in coordination with the HSSEQ / technical functions.</p>
<p><b>Safety Management System:</b><br>
10. Maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) of the organization and consistently focus on improving the quality, efficiency of procedures and accuracy, jointly with the Fleet HSSEQ function<br>
11. Brief new senior officers before they join the vessels with regards to the Safety Management System, company policies, vessel operations and specific charterers&rsquo; requirements.</p>
<p><b>Monitor Communication:</b><br>
12. Confirm owned vessels managed by third party is operated efficiently in line with Master Service agreement, Owners instructions, charterer&rsquo;s instruction and TCP.<br>
13. Ensure that managed vessels are operated as per TCP obligations.</p>
<p><b>Voyage Planning:</b><br>
14. Supervise the voyage planning and performance process for the vessels managed by NSQL to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and the requirements of the charterer. Help the organization to avoid performance related claims and provide support in challenging the claims in case they are raised. As well as comply with Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan.</p>

15. Participate actively. ship shore interface and compatibly studies Liaise with all related parties such as agents, charterers and terminals and provide all relevant information for the Master to assess the suitability / compatibility of the berth.<br>
16. Carry out in-house mooring analysis Studies.</p>
<p><b>Incident investigations and Risk Assessment:</b><br>
17. Lead investigations into any incidents that may occur as per safety management system SMS / ISM, and ensure that incidents are successfully closed out in a timely manner in coordination with the HSSEQ function.<br>
18. Conduct safety risk assessment and environmental impact assessment for vessel operations in line with Maritime standard / best industry practice.</p>
<p><b>Emergency Response Plan:</b><br>
19. Perform duties and functions as per the Emergency Response Plan and as directed by the Incident Commander.<br>
<br>
<b>Staff Related Functions:</b><br>
20. Works with Fleet &ndash; Head Of Operations and/or Marine Personnel Manager on matters concerning suitability of personnel for promotion, possible secondment or career development and undertake assessments of candidates for promotion.<br>

<p><b>1. JOB PURPOSE:</b></p><p>This role will be involved in providing customer service functions in liaison with relevant stakeholders while contributing towards meeting and exceeding the set targets. Ensure the smooth operation flow of cargo through acceptance and management of bookings. Identify the needs and improve customer service performance for the local station.</p><p><b>2. ACCOUNTABILITIES:</b></p><p><b>Operational</b></p><ul><li>Ensure full compliance at all times with safety and security regulations and procedures as per host state and company requirements.</li><li>Maintain close coordination between departments, customers and third parties to ensure shipments are transferred, delivered on time and correct priority is given to shipments.</li><li>Identify needs and improve cargo sales and operational performance for local station.</li><li>Distribute official notifications to concerned parties, both internal and external.</li><li>Create awareness of Cargo products and services among existing and potential customers, as well as internal stakeholders.</li><li>Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.</li></ul><p><b>Customer Service</b></p><ul><li>Coordinate service recovery measures and implement corrective actions, when required, ensuring appropriate communication to relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Record updates on backlog/critical situations to avoid complaints from customers.</li><li>Coordinate between cargo handling teams and outstations on shipments requiring special handling/attention to ensure smooth movement of cargo, when required.</li><li>Provide booking list to Ground Handling Agent (GHA) within the agreed time frame, to effect on-time departure of flights.</li><li>Contribute in maximizing revenue through efficient allocations in relation to reservations with Revenue Management.</li><li>Attend to all customer queries with regard to cargo shipments.</li><li>Assist in facilitating coordination between IATA / CASS and cargo offices within the station / region to ensure efficiency in billing and settlement processes.</li><li>Assist station in-charge in handling CAMS violation/Finance reconciliation queries and shipment verification.</li></ul><p><b>Reservations</b></p><ul><li>Accept bookings for cargo sales and ensure they are properly fed into the cargo IT system according to airline instructions as per Cargo Services Manual (CSM).</li><li>Liaise between sales team members and Revenue Management to ensure each reservation is properly allocated per flight.</li><li>Make booking with other airlines/trucking companies and make use of SPA contracts to ensure satisfactory service to offline destinations, whenever required.</li></ul><p><b>Sales</b></p><ul><li>Interact via telephone with freight forwarders, direct shippers and/or consignees, typical telesales functions, assist customer queries, rate quotations, optimizing the commercial functions related to export booking/forwarding/delivery while setting a high standard of service.</li><li>Flight planning with maximum utilization of the flight capacity, control and operation export &amp; import.</li><li>Generate services reports including preparation system accounting updates on every flight departure.</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Contract<br/>Contract length: 4 months</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>
