BIM/CAD Technician (Infra &amp; Dry Utilities / MV &amp; LV Power Distribution)

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM/CAD Technician to join our team! In this role you will be required to perform from basic to moderately-difficult design/drafting assignments.
What You'll Be Doing:<ul><li>
Experience on infrastructure dry utilities mainly MV, LV Power Distribution, Pumping Stations etc.</li><li>
Work closely with CAD &amp; BIM Managers and Design Leads to complete the assigned project deliverable in compliance with the required Standards and Quality.</li><li>
Works with CAD &amp; BIM Managers, Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely completion.</li><li>
Review each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC process.</li><li>
Good knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families.</li><li>
Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues.</li><li>
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.</li><li>
Candidates with knowledge on local authority electricity standards and regulations (DEWA, SEWA, Etihad WE, DM etc.) are preferred.</li></ul>
What Required Skills You'll Bring:<ul><li>
3-Years Diploma/ Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and /or Draughtman related.</li><li>
Minimum 5+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting experience in infrastructure and dry utilities projects including MV, LV Power Distribution, Pumping Station etc.</li><li>
Software experience required: AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM &amp; Civil 3D, Navisworks.</li><li>
Common Data Environment: ProjectWise &amp; Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).</li><li>
Ability to communicate clearly in English.</li></ul>
