 Job Overview
 
 
 
 We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer - Construction experience in Substation projects within the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all electrical construction activities in consultation with Lead Engineer ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.
 
 
 Closely monitoring the execution of daily electrical construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, quality standards and schedule. Close coordination with multidisciplinary team and interface project. All construction activities shall be in accordance with ADNOC HSE policy.

Job Description 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Plan, prepare, and execute electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as per project procedure, ADNOC standards, and applicable IEC codes.</li><li>
Review single line diagrams, control schematics, cable schedules, and electrical layouts to confirm readiness for commissioning.</li><li>
Conduct inspection, testing, and energization of electrical systems including transformers, switchgear (LV/MV/HV), MCCs, motors, UPS, lighting, and earthing systems.</li><li>
Lead/Perform insulation resistance, continuity, functional, and interlock testing and maintain proper test records.</li><li>
Coordinate with design, construction, and instrumentation teams to ensure system completion and punch list closure.</li><li>
Ensure safe energization of electrical equipment following company and ADNOC Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.</li><li>
Supervise subcontractor commissioning teams, ensuring compliance with project safety and quality standards.</li><li>
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system faults during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.</li><li>
Prepare and submit commissioning reports, test packs, red-line drawings, and turnover documentation.</li><li>
