 Oversee resolution of all identified issues across all site infrastructure and items that are assigned via management and supervisory teams.

 Ensure teams are responding to all faults, incidents, and remedial actions and that they are logged, tracked, and closed via the Service Desk Incident Management System.

 Oversee scheduling of planned preventative maintenance, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance to minimise service disruption.

 Oversee management of the site Permit to Work (PTW) system and ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are reviewed and applied.

 Coordinate with internal engineering teams and contractors to safely deliver maintenance, repairs, and customer-impacting activities.

 Maintain accurate operational records, including CMMS/CAFM data, asset information, incident reports, and maintenance documentation.

About the Role 
Egis is seeking a Graduate Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (UAE National) to join our site-based project team in Abu Dhabi. This role offers an excellent opportunity for Emirati graduates to gain hands-on experience on large-scale infrastructure and building projects while developing technical, professional, and site coordination skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Engineer &ndash; Site, you will:<ul><li>
Support site engineers in the supervision and execution of mechanical or electrical works in accordance with project specifications and drawings</li><li>
Assist with site inspections, monitoring contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with approved plans, standards, and safety requirements</li><li>
Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals with senior engineers</li><li>
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth site operations</li><li>
Attend site meetings and assist with the preparation of progress reports and technical documentation</li><li>
Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities</li><li>
Ensure adherence to HSE policies, quality standards, and local authority regulations</li><li>
Perform other site-related engineering tasks as required to support project delivery</li></ul> 
What do we need from you 
Education<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university</li></ul>
Experience<ul><li>
Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience (internships or site training considered an advantage)</li></ul>
Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>
Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems in buildings or infrastructure projects</li><li>
Strong willingness to learn and work in a site-based environment</li><li>
Good communication and teamwork skills</li><li>
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision</li><li>
Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage</li><li>
