The role is responsible for ensuring the availability of critical spare parts, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting maintenance operations to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and procure spare parts for earth-moving equipment, heavy vehicles, and light vehicles.</li><li>Analyze and interpret spare parts catalogs, technical manuals, engineering drawings, and manufacturer diagrams to determine correct spare parts and components.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of part numbers, specifications, interchangeability data, and inventory levels.</li><li>Coordinate with maintenance, workshop, fleet, and procurement teams to determine spare parts requirements and priorities.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical and fast-moving spare parts.</li><li>Prepare technical specifications, purchase requests, quotations, and supplier evaluations.</li><li>Verify spare parts compatibility and technical compliance before procurement and issuance.</li><li>Support preventive maintenance programs by ensuring the availability of required spare parts.</li><li>Manage emergency and breakdown spare parts requirements to minimize equipment downtime.</li><li>Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies, including stock analysis and forecasting.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of spare parts.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and traceability of spare parts transactions and inventory movements.</li><li>Prepare technical and inventory reports, including consumption trends, stock valuation, and critical spare parts analysis.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and HSE requirements.</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience in spare parts engineering, inventory management, or maintenance support for earth-moving equipment, heavy vehicles, and light vehicles.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of equipment systems, spare parts identification, and maintenance requirements.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting spare parts diagrams, technical drawings, EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog), and manufacturer documentation.</li><li>Experience in the transportation and oil &amp; gas sectors is mandatory.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP, SAP, or other inventory management systems.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical evaluation skills.</li><li>Excellent communication, coordination, and supplier management abilities.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage urgent operational requirements.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Knowledge of leading equipment and vehicle brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Scania, and Toyota.</li><li>Expertise in inventory planning, stock control, spare parts forecasting, and lifecycle management.</li><li>Strong understanding of equipment reliability, maintenance planning, and spare parts optimization.</li><li>Proficiency in Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) systems and manufacturer databases.</li><li>Experience in warranty tracking, supplier performance evaluation, and vendor management.</li><li>Ability to analyze technical manuals, service bulletins, and engineering documentation for accurate spare parts selection.</li><li>Strong coordination skills with maintenance, fleet operations, procurement, and warehouse teams.</li><li>Ability to manage critical spare parts availability and support emergency breakdown situations efficiently.</li></ul>Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Industry: Transportation / Oil &amp; Gas Department: Engineering &amp; Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Engineering ManagerWork Location: In person
