 Essential duties &amp; responsibilities:
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform installations, inspections, aftermarket upgrades, and field works on turbines and be responsible for directing supervisors and craft labor to perform those works.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage, perform, and coordinate the Steam turbine and heavy duty gas turbine installations and overhauls.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troubleshoot the equipment.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide customers and contractors with technical direction and support during installation and outage execution.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheets timely and thoroughly.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Signs off on all changes implemented during overhauls.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assure work executed aligns with technical requirements and company safety and quality standards.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance support to the Customers.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare detailed technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outages.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure all parts needed for the job are shipped to the site.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;When not on the field project, you may be assigned to other duties to help drive DeveEnergy market growth, including but not limited to remote support of our Customer base, reports reviews, maintenance documentation preparations, outage planning support, etc.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain up-to-date awareness and understanding of the steam turbines, issues, and associated corrective actions.
 
 
 Special considerations:
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Extensive international travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends, and beyond standard working hours as required by field assignments.
 
 
 
 
 
 Required qualifications &amp; experience:
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;A technical university degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience working on GE steam turbine technology, installation, maintenance, or a High School / GED diploma with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a steam turbine and gas turbine field service installation or equipment maintenance role.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) field engineering training or equivalent is mandatory.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Solid understanding and technical knowledge of steam turbines, gas turbines and associated equipment.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Thorough knowledge of GE parts identification using BOM and drawings, for gas and steam turbines.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knowledge of standard installation procedures and outage scopes, repair procedures, and practices.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required.

 Desired Characteristics:
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience (OEM) on General Electric heavy-duty gas turbines and steam turbines.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Field service experience (OEM or recognized ISP) on other manufacturers' heavy-duty gas turbines will be an additional advantage.
 
 
 &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;Familiarity with borescope equipment, dial and laser alignment techniques, and thermal growth equipment. The technical competence in using the above will be an additional advantage.

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape/Irrigation Engineer to join our team!
Performs a variety of field engineering assignments by applying basic engineering techniques and analysis. The Landscape Engineer is exposed to various aspects of field engineering and construction activities while gaining exposure to Company procedures and industry practices. Some assignments may involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications. May give functional guidance to craft personnel.
The landscape architect/engineer will be responsible for coordinating the design, resolving issues arising from the site related to hard and soft landscaping.
What You'll Be Doing:<ul><li>
Develop proposal in coordination with the Client's requirement and liaising with the designer.</li><li>
Performs various field engineering assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories typically studied in a Bachelors in engineering program, as well as general industry practices.</li><li>
Review Contractors submission against the Contract documents and provide necessary approval. The landscape Architect will review the shop drawings, document submittal, material and technical proposals. The approval of these drawings shall be in compliance to the Contract requirements.</li><li>
Review prequalification of Contractors/subcontractors and provide necessary recommendation to the Client.</li><li>
Site inspection as necessary to ensure the works executed are in compliance and acceptable</li><li>
Selection of plants/trees from the external sources before shipping to site.</li><li>
Thorough knowledge of the specious of plant used in the region and their requirements</li><li>
Thorough knowledge of the irrigation standards, requirements and type used for different type of plantation..</li><li>
May provide functional guidance to craft personnel.</li><li>
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.</li><li>
Experience in authority related requirements, standards and specification.</li></ul>
What Required Skills You'll Bring:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Landscape, Architecture, Civil or Agricultural Engineering or related field.</li><li>
Min 10 years of experience in design and construction supervision of Landscape and Irrigation projects, preferably in UAE.</li><li>
Experience in large scale projects experience is required.</li><li>
Fundamental knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as good written and oral communication skills.</li><li>
International and Local Authority Standards and Statutory requirement in the field of specialization.</li></ul>
