 The Field Service Technician will perform maintenance, training, and work closely with military customers. This position desires an individual who has experience performing mechanical and electronics, on both the radiation and Backscatter technology systems as well as skills performing installs, de-installs, testing systems and components, and performing Preventive Maintenance actions on a variety of systems belonging to the Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems. The successful candidate may be assigned supervisor duties to manage the day-to-day operations of their area or operations and or other technicians. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
At least seven years of relevant experience in a technical capacity whether active duty military, government service, and/or contractor. Graduate of military service technical school such as USAF 2EXXX / 3DXXX / ETC or US Army 35T / 35S / ETC or similar.</li><li>
Experience with various COMSEC equipment and configurations, communication system, data-networks to include Fiber-Optics/Networks, and VOIP.</li><li>
Ability to troubleshoot and isolate hardware or software configuration malfunctions in multi-vendor integrated networked systems.</li><li>
Experience in interpreting system drawings, electronic schematics, network drawings, engineering drawings.</li><li>
Two years performing system functional analysis and failure data reporting, evaluate system performance, install approved system modifications, and recommend system architecture and technical change proposals.</li><li>
Capable of performing analysis of system operations and performing training.</li><li>
Experience troubleshooting, fault finding, and repair of electronic equipment.</li><li>
Experience with communications analyzers (service monitors) spectrum analyzers, and volt meters.</li><li>
Experience in customer support.</li><li>
Experience in stock control and asset management</li><li>
Experience in a forward-facing customer support role.</li><li>
Excellent customer presence as well as verbal and written communication skills, writing system documentation documents, and communications involving system installation and operation.</li></ul>

Salary and Benefit Information<div>
The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
