We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our Finance Team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong accounts payable experience and a keen eye for accuracy to play a key role in a dynamic and supportive finance team. The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing upgrade of the accounting system, therefore experience with similar system upgrade projects would be beneficial.The RoleThe role will support the Finance team with accurate invoice and expense processing, daily bank reconciliations, management reporting, and coordination with auditors during interim and annual audits.Other responsibilities include<ul><li>processing a high volume of invoices using the accounting system Navision.</li><li>dealing with staff expenses and company credit cards.</li><li>double entry bookkeeping of invoices in the accounting system, including prepayments where relevant.</li><li>performing daily bank reconciliations for 45 corporate bank accounts.</li><li>liaising with third parties such as auditors when required.</li><li>petty cash and inter-company reconciliations.</li><li>Support the upgrade of the accounting system from Navision to Microsoft Dynamics D365, including assisting with system testing and contributing to the optimisation of key financial processes to drive efficiency and improve controls.</li><li>Supporting the implementation of the new purchase order system by assisting various departments across the business in adopting and effectively using the platform.</li></ul>Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with good MS Excel skills. The position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, and the ability to deal with suppliers and staff at all levels in the company. They should have a "can do" attitude, be able to work well under pressure, and have excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in accounts payable and a solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping are essential.
