KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Associate ensures the store remains well-organized, fully stocked, and aligned .Key Responsibilities &amp; Duties:Sales and Customer Service Focus&middot; Attend to retail and wholesale customers courteously and professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience.&middot; Support daily sales activities by assisting customers, promoting products, and providing product information.&middot; Process sales transactions accurately in coordination with the cashier or POS system.&middot; Assist wholesale buyers with order preparation, packing, and product loading as required.&middot; Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively answer customer inquiries and promote sales.Merchandising and Display Focus&middot; Display and arrange products on shelves following FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles.&middot; Ensure all product displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing in line with merchandising standards.&middot; Refill shelves promptly to maintain full stock availability throughout the day.&middot; Ensure product labels, pricing tags, and promotional signage are accurate and visible.&middot; Check and remove expired, damaged, or slow-moving items from display areas and report to the supervisor.Stock and Inventory Focus&middot; Monitor stock levels on the sales floor and back store regularly.&middot; Conduct daily checks of back store inventory to ensure product availability.&middot; Inform the Sales Supervisor or Reporting Manager of any out-of-stock, low-stock, or near-expiry items.&middot; Assist in receiving and unpacking deliveries, verifying quantities and product conditions.&middot; Maintain the cleanliness and organization of stockrooms and display areas.Operational and Team Focus&middot; Coordinate with other sales associates and store teams to maintain smooth operations.&middot; Support in stock counting and inventory audits as required.&middot; Follow company policies on sales handling, safety, and hygiene procedures.&middot; Report maintenance, safety, or operational issues promptly to the supervisor.Quality and Compliance Focus&middot; Ensure strict compliance with FIFO/FEFO methods for product rotation.&middot; Follow company policies on hygiene, safety, and store upkeep.&middot; Contribute to maintaining a professional, customer-friendly, and efficient store environment.Qualifications:&middot; High School Diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Sales, Retail, or Customer Service are an advantage.&middot; 0.6&ndash;2 years of experience in retail or wholesale sales, preferably in the FMCG or supermarket sector.&middot; Basic understanding of sales operations, merchandising, and inventory management.&middot; Strong communication and customer service skills.&middot; Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.&middot; Physically fit to handle product movement, shelf stocking, and general retail tasks.&middot; Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.Salary - 120 + food +accommodationIf you are interested kindly share your resumes to info@gnsbusiness.com or 968 98517367 / +968 76269238Job Type: Full-timePay: RO120.000 - RO140.000 per month
