The Calibration Technician shall schedule and perform calibration of Critical and Non-Critical Process Equipment and Laboratory Standards and complete all required documentation. Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil &amp; Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Technical Office Engineer (Piping), who will be based in our site Office. 
Job Description 
<ul><li>
Review and interpret piping drawings, P&amp;IDs, isometrics, specifications, and engineering documents for construction.</li><li>
Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, material submittals, RFIs, and technical queries (TQs).</li><li>
Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, procurement, and planning teams to resolve technical issues.</li><li>
Ensure piping works comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, ASME, API, and applicable international codes.</li><li>
Monitor engineering revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available for construction.</li><li>
Provide technical support during piping fabrication, installation, hydrotesting, reinstatement, and pre-commissioning activities.</li><li>
Review material take-offs (MTOs), piping material specifications, and support procurement activities.</li><li>
Coordinate with the Document Control team to maintain accurate engineering records and document revisions.</li><li>
Participate in constructability reviews and provide technical solutions to support efficient project execution.</li><li>
Assist in preparing as-built drawings and project handover documentation.</li><li>
Attend technical coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors as required.</li></ul> 

Qualifications<ul><li> 
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.</li></ul> 
Additional Information 
<ul><li>
Minimum 5&ndash;8 years of experience in piping engineering or technical office functions within Oil &amp; Gas EPC projects.</li><li>
Minimum 3 years of experience on ADNOC projects or similar GCC Oil &amp; Gas facilities is preferred.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of piping construction, fabrication, installation, and testing requirements.</li><li>
Familiarity with ADNOC engineering standards, project specifications, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.</li><li>
Experience in preparing engineering documentation and resolving construction-related technical issues.</li><li>
Good understanding of ASME, API, ASTM, and other relevant piping codes and standards.</li><li>
Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li></ul></div>

Job Purpose

Technical Assurance
<ul><li>Technical Integrity: Verifying &amp; achieving technical Integrity of respective project deliverable(s) in compliance with:

</li><li>Basis of Design.
</li></ul></li><li>Monitor and check the EPC Contractor&rsquo;s technical deliverables in order to obtain the required Quality, with in time and budget
</li><li>Attend internal progress and engineering meetingsas required with the Contractors and Licensors.
</li><li>To supervise and ensure the design works of Vendor and Contractor are in accordance with the scope of work and project technical specifications.
</li><li>Ensure process engineering schedules are consistent with Company overall Project requirements.
</li><li>Support COMPANY in the execution of the works
</li><li>Attend internal / external Project reviews and other meetings, as necessary.
</li><li>Keep up to date with and adhere to Company and Project related procedures.
</li><li>When required assist Contractors in their interface management.
</li><li>Attend internal progress and engineering meetings as required with the Contractors.
</li><li>Participate in continuous risk analysis of the engineering works.
</li><li>To manage and audit the work of Contractor and ensure that quality and standards are maintained, and costs effective solutions are adopted.
</li><li>Provide support and network with Engineering Manager including the coordination between PMC disciplines.
</li><li>Review and provide responses to Technical Queries, Interface Queries and Concession Requests.
</li><li>Identify and analyse negative trends in execution of engineering and initiate corrective actions.
</li><li>To ensure that cost-effective solutions and application of value engineering are applied throughout the duration of Project.
</li><li>To render professional assistance to Project Management, and Project Commercial Group.
</li><li>Review and approve the development of the schedule established for process engineering and to control, monitor and report Engineering Contractors performance against the schedule.
</li><li>Coordinate all communications and meetings with the Contractors regarding process engineering/design requirements as they may arise.
</li><li>Review and approve process engineering activities planned by the Contractor to ensure compliance with the Scope of Work and quality objectives of the project.
</li><li>Leading and coordinating all process reviews with stakeholders within the project.
</li><li>Enforcing the management of project change process.
</li><li>Ensure detail design documentation is developed, implemented and closed-out to the satisfaction of Company.
</li><li>Ensure that the detail design activities are executed in accordance with Company procedures.
</li><li>Ensure that detail designs are in accordance with Project HSE requirements.
</li><li>Stimulate challenges and support the Contractor to strive for easy/simple solutions and to avoid unnecessary delays to the Project schedule(s).
</li><li>To ensure the effective liaison and co-ordination by Contractor between all parties.
</li><li>Ensure that all tasks assigned by the Project Manager are completed on time and within budget.
</li><li>Attend internal / external Project reviews and other meetings, as necessary.
</li><li>Keep up to date with and adhere to Company and Project related procedures.
</li><li>When required assist Contractors in their interface management.Ensure process engineering works are performed to meet project schedules and that completed works are delivered safely and in a timely manner.
</li><li>Support Procurements activities &amp; relevant documents approvals, VENDOR documents approval, physical inspection as required.
</li><li>Support Construction &amp; commissioning activities by involvement in respective Discipline inspections &amp; punch listing activities as applicable for release of respective certifications (DAC/MC,,etc.)
</li><li>Verification of Final discipline specific Documentation &amp; Database at handover &amp; confirm completeness &amp; correctness.
</li><li>Supports Project Control within area with monthly reports, BPSC presentations etc.
</li></ul>Process/Engineering Change Management
<ul><li>Review of discipline specific Concession requests issued within the CONTRACT, validate the basis of the request &amp; its impact on technical integrity &amp; justification, prior to requesting endorsement from Technical authority.
</li><li>Monitoring &amp; ensuring that discipline specific design change management is being carried out for all respective engineering changes with proper multidiscipline impact assessment &amp; the same is registered &amp; controlled (as &amp; when required).
</li></ul>Minimum Qualification
<ul><li>4 year bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering is must
</li><li>Must be fluent in English language (Written &amp; Spoken).
</li></ul>Minimum Experience &amp; Knowledge &amp; Skills
<ul><li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university, with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil &amp; Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of five (5) years (preferred) in the GCC region.
</li><li>Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position on major Oil &amp; Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.
</li><li>Offshore project experience is required.
</li><li>ADNOC experience is preferred.
</li><li>Process management experience.
</li><li>Through knowledge of industry governing codes &amp; standards,
</li><li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
