Casual /Temporary / Part-Time HGV Class 1 DriverWe are a well-established and busy family-run steel fabrication and erection company based in Dundee. We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a casual, temporary, part-time basis, supporting deliveries and collections across Scotland as required.This role offers flexible working hours ( Monday to Friday only) to suit project demands and would suit someone looking for part-time or occasional work. Competitive rates of pay are available depending on experience. Potential for the role to be permanent.Main Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Delivering structural steelwork to various sites throughout Scotland using artic lorries and 45&rsquo; trailers.</li><li>Loading steelwork onto trailers using overhead cranes.</li><li>Unloading steel deliveries at our workshop premises using overhead cranes.</li><li>Delivering and collecting materials and orders using a transit van.</li><li>Following all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.</li><li>Assisting with other duties as required.</li></ul>Skills and Requirements<ul><li>Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence.</li><li>Previous experience handling structural steelwork preferred.</li><li>Flexible, reliable and willing to support the team when needed.</li><li>Ability to use, or willingness to learn to use, overhead cranes (training provided).</li><li>Availability for occasional early starts or later finishes depending on workload.</li></ul>Additional Information<ul><li>Casual temporary part-time role.</li><li>Work based in Dundee and across Scotland.</li><li>Uniform provided.</li><li>Free parking on site.</li><li>Access to Sage Benefits including store discounts, GP access and legal advice.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 3 years&rsquo; HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.</li></ul>Pay: &pound;18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Company pension</li><li>Free parking</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Sick pay</li><li>Store discount</li></ul>Application question(s):<ul><li>Happy to participate in Drug and Alcohol testing. </li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>HGV Class 1 Driving: 3 years (required)</li></ul>Licence/Certification:<ul><li>Category CE Licence (required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>75% (required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
