This is an exciting opportunity to join us at an early stage and grow with the business long term.The RoleYou&rsquo;ll be driving a Scania vehicle delivering timber and building materials to commercial customers and construction sites.Typical duties include:<ul><li>Delivering timber and building products across the South of England</li><li>Occasional Midlands deliveries</li><li>Completing approximately 3&ndash;6 drops per day</li><li>Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting</li><li>Securing loads safely and operating in line with transport regulations</li><li>Planning routes efficiently using road knowledge and sat nav systems</li><li>Supporting with loading/unloading when required (minimal handball)</li><li>Representing Woodbox professionally at all times</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForEssential:<ul><li>Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence</li><li>Minimum 3 years&rsquo; Class 1 and/or Class 2 driving experience</li><li>Valid CPC qualification</li><li>Digital tachograph card</li><li>Experience delivering to commercial or construction sites</li><li>Strong understanding of road safety and driver regulations</li><li>Reliable, professional, and team-focused attitude</li></ul>Advantageous but not essential:<ul><li>Timber or builders merchant experience</li><li>Experience with building materials or construction deliveries</li></ul>What We Offer✅ &pound;43,000&ndash;&pound;45,000 salary depending on experience ✅ Overtime paid at time and a half ✅ Monday&ndash;Friday only ✅ No weekends or overnight stays ✅ Home every night ✅ 25 days holiday plus bank holidays ✅ Company pension after successful probation ✅ Annual pay review and bonus scheme ✅ Full uniform &amp; PPE provided ✅ Free on-site parking ✅ Employee discount ✅ Supportive, friendly working environment ✅ Opportunity to grow with an ambitious businessWhy Join Woodbox?We believe good drivers are the backbone of a successful business.
