Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></div><div><ul><li>
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.</li><li>
Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis by checking, training and following the LQA, Forbes and Rosewood brand standards.</li><li>
Monitor and control operation of various sections including, but not limited to linen room, uniform room, floors, public areas, offices, and storerooms.</li><li>
Inventory, issue and control use of linen, amenities, cleaning supplies and other housekeeping supplies.</li><li>
Prepare associates schedules and assignments on a daily basis.</li><li>
Ensure guest complaints are resolved in a timely manner and follow up on the glitches personally.</li><li>
Maintain associate attendance, daily briefings, grooming standards, daily training calendar.</li><li>
Responsible for lost and found drops, entry, and monitoring.</li><li>
Recommend hiring, developing, counseling, motivating and disciplining staff in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of linen and uniforms sent to and returned from laundry.</li><li>
Maintaining floor checklist and pantry checklist on daily basis</li><li>
Interact in courteous and professional manner with all guests, staff and community members.</li><li>
Complete in charge and empowered for day-to-day glitches and updating the assistant manager if there is a highlight required.</li><li>
Respond in courteous, professional and rapid manner in order to resolve all guest and associate&rsquo;s difficulties.</li><li>
Supervise, direct, coordinate, associates in order to maintain service standards of hotel.</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area.</li><li>
Report all malfunctions on assigned floors to Engineering department. Follow up any reports, taking further action if required.</li><li>
Ensure all associates equipment is well maintained and in proper working order.</li><li>
Ensure all floors are stocked properly with correct supplies.</li><li>
Responsible for maintaining efficient inventory control of cleaning supplies and linens to ensure smooth and uninterrupted guest services.</li><li>
Stock and replace missing items in minibars and guest rooms, inspect and clean the minibars in accordance with departmental procedures and policies.</li><li>
Maintain, track and complete daily worksheet of minibar stock and post to guest accounts via iPad device.</li><li>
Ensure products in minibar and guest room are not expired and take the proper procedure to remove and replace those products as necessary.</li><li>
Ensure rotation of all minibar products.</li><li>
Monitor and report any misuse or unexplained stock discrepancies.</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b><br>
