ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<ul><li>Ensure all reports are prepared completely and on time.</li><li>Involve Supervisors and Linen Room Attendants in as many administrative functions.</li><li>To prepare and submit, on the required format, all information necessary for budgeting purposes.</li><li>Screens and Acknowledges daily work schedules.</li><li>Ensures that an effective duty assigned to the sufficiency of manpower in accordance to volume of business.</li><li>Manages time effectively by meeting deadlines on time.</li><li>Administers personnel action on leaves &amp; overtime requests, disciplinary actions and commendation.</li><li>Identifies and solves problems in a professional manner.</li><li>Acknowledges logbook and ensures that each recorded problems is attended.</li><li>Ensures that consumption reports, inventories, lost &amp; found log books are handled according to the policies and procedures.</li></ul>

<li><p><b>As a </b><b>Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:</b></p></li>

Maintain company&rsquo;s image portraying a neat and tidy appearance and correct wearing of uniform, following strictly the hotels&rsquo; personal hygiene policy.</li>
<li>Ensures key control procedures are maintained.</li>

Position Summary</div><div>
We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking <b>Director of Housekeeping </b>to lead and elevate housekeeping operations across all areas of a distinguished luxury property in <b>Doha </b>. This role is central to upholding world-class cleanliness, presentation, and service standards that define exceptional guest experiences.
</div><div>The ideal candidate will bring a proven background from<b> Forbes Five-Star properties </b>or equivalent <b>ultra-luxury hospitality environments </b>, with the expertise to inspire excellence, foster team pride, and deliver flawless service consistency across the entire operation.<p></p>
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, event spaces, spa, fitness facilities, and back-of-house areas.
</li><li>Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in line with international luxury hospitality benchmarks.
</li><li>Lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team of supervisors, room attendants, and support staff to achieve and sustain the highest service standards.
</li><li>Conduct regular inspections to ensure pristine cleanliness, meticulous attention to detail, and consistency across all areas.
</li><li>Collaborate closely with Engineering, Front Office, and Food &amp; Beverage departments to ensure operational efficiency, timely room readiness, and outstanding guest satisfaction.
</li><li>Oversee departmental budgets, payroll, and cost controls while maintaining efficiency and quality.
</li><li>Implement effective training and career development programs that empower team members and build future leaders.
</li><li>Ensure full compliance with hygiene, health, safety, and sustainability protocols in line with Qatar&rsquo;s hospitality regulations.
</li><li>Drive innovation through new technologies, eco-friendly practices, and advanced housekeeping methodologies.
</li><li>Cultivate strong supplier and vendor relationships to maintain access to premium-quality products and services.

Job Description</b><p><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Assist the Executive Director Housekeeping in all phases of housekeeping activities.</p></li><li><p>
Report to shift on time in issued uniform in a neat, clean and tidy appearance at all times and ensure, supervised that the subordinates are well groomed.</p></li><li><p>
Arrange departmental weekly rosters including vacation planning and schedule them according to business level and forecast.</p></li><li><p>
Responsible for controlling expenses and keeping expenses in line with the budget.</p></li><li><p>
Participate to the budgeting exercise.</p></li><li><p>
Responsible for ensuring staffing needs and daily assignments in accordance with occupancy.</p></li><li><p>
Manage rotational or periodic cleaning programs and regular inspections of suites and public areas, back of the house areas, and service areas.</p></li><li><p>
Conduct daily briefing to subordinates in the absence of the Executive Director Housekeeping</p></li><li><p>
Check all the suites on arrival under his/her care daily, to ensure departmental and Forbes 5-Star standard of cleanliness, maintenance and sanitation. This spot check may either be following a routine check out suite cleaning, in house guest suite cleaning or turn down service.</p></li><li><p>
Randomly check rooms and fill scoring check list daily to be able to give feedback to both supervisors and attendant.</p></li><li><p>
Maximize suite inspection productivity to enhance high standards of cleanliness and minimize outstanding defects and repairs.</p></li><li><p>
Establish, implement and monitor the maintenance and repair program of guest suites and rooms. Ensure that repair request is being processed and monitor</p></li><li><p>
Ensures that VIP arrivals and in-house requirements are dealt with, including final VIP suite inspection and amenity check. Liaise with Front Office for special requests.</p></li><li><p>
Constantly inspect housekeeping areas and ensure cleanliness, tidiness and safe. Maintain pleasing environment for guests.</p></li><li><p>
Randomly check floor pantries to ensure the inventories are properly stocked with par level, cleaned and tidied.</p></li><li><p>
Assist the Executive Director Housekeeper to deal with all contractors or suppliers (when applicable).</p></li><li><p>
Assisting in special projects, refurbishments and renovations if required.</p></li><li><p>
Leads by example. Maintains a positive, cooperative work environment &amp; good communication with all related departments and management.</p></li><li><p>
