The role involves inspections, documentation, coordination with consultants and clients, and continuous improvement of quality processes throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance &amp; Control<ul><li>Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with contract requirements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and specifications (ISO, ASTM, BS, ACI, ASME, etc.).</li><li>Conduct inspections and tests for materials, workmanship, and construction activities.</li><li>Review method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and procedures prior to execution.</li></ul>Site Inspections &amp; Monitoring<ul><li>Perform routine site inspections to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.</li><li>Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.</li><li>Identify non-conformities and issue NCRs; follow up on corrective and preventive actions.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test results, and as-built documentation.</li><li>Prepare and submit QA/QC reports to clients, consultants, and project management.</li><li>Ensure proper document control of quality-related records.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors regarding quality matters.</li><li>Coordinate material inspections, testing, and approvals with laboratories and suppliers.</li><li>Support audits (internal and external) and client inspections.</li></ul>Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Monitor subcontractor quality performance and provide guidance where required.</li><li>Recommend improvements to construction processes to enhance quality and efficiency.</li><li>Ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented in ongoing and future projects.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).</li><li>Minimum X years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in contracting companies.</li><li>Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and quality standards.</li><li>Experience working with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong understanding of QA/QC systems and ISO 9001 requirements.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.</li><li>Excellent inspection, reporting, and documentation skills.</li><li>Good communication and coordination abilities.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office and quality management software.</li></ul>Certifications (Preferred)<ul><li>ISO 9001 Internal Auditor</li><li>CSWIP / AWS / NDT Level II (as applicable)</li><li>PMP or equivalent (advantage)</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Site-based role with frequent inspections.</li><li>May require working extended hours to meet project deadlines.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
