Major accountabilities of Position
<ul><li>An experienced and highly skilled Principal Instrumentation and Control Engineer to lead and oversee the instrumentation and control systems for our offshore oil and gas projects.

</li><li>Develop discipline work plans. Overall supervision of I&amp;C engineers, designers and technical personnel in the execution of the project and development of project deliverables.
</li><li>Provide technical expertise and support in the specification, design, and selection of instruments, controllers, and control systems.
</li><li>Manage all aspects of instrumentation and control engineering on assigned projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource planning and risk management.

 Responsibilities And Duties
 
 
 
 The ideal candidate will support the team on process industry-based project design work for smooth execution.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 To assist engineers / Design manager / Discipline Manager for the engineering design of the project.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure verification of source data, concept &amp; FEED drawings / concepts as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 FEED and detailed Engineering deliverables in Brown field projects in Wellhead Towers, Process platforms and Islands where handling mechanical packages like chemical Injection packages, Biocide packages, Compressor Packages, Heater packages, Well Head Control Panel (WHCP), ESD/RTU panel, ICSS systems, Well head Oil production/Water Injection Instruments, SCADA Systems, High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS) etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Align with Mechanical team and Vendors for the Technical Evaluation for Gas Compressor packages, Heater packages International std compliance review.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review of Package control systems, Anti surge Control System, Load sharing control and interface to plant control systems (ICSS/ VMS Systems).
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan the Project execution suit to deliver the projects within the project schedule.
 </li>
 <li>
 Managing the team of Engineers and designers, Monitoring and control the Budget Manhrs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and &filig;nalize the engineering document deliverable register (EDDR) in coordination with all relevant department / discipline, submission date as per Client / Contract requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparation of all instrument &amp; automation related design deliverables through MS-office, Smart plant tools (SPI), AUTOCAD, Micro-station, and calculation tools like Instrucalc, SPI etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare / review the design outputs in the form of design computations, drawings and specification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review of design document, drawings, etc. issued by various disciplines, design subcontractor and ensure Client&rsquo;s approval.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible to ensure approval of all submitted documents and drawings and necessary coordination with Client.
 </li>
 <li>
 Overall responsible for inter discipline coordination, submission of necessary design documents/ deliverables and procedures to the Client.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate HAZOP, SIL Study for the design has been carried out in accordance to the requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance to Laws and Statutory Regulations, Authority, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Requirements for the project.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible to ensure unclear issues are resolved with Client through technical query in coordination with inter discipline leads, managers.
 </li>
 <li>
 In coordination with procurement department, ensure that procurement inputs required for design has been obtained from vendor and forwarded to the design subcontractor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participation of FAT, SAT, commissioning, pre-commissioning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate for the preparation of as built.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Engineering Graduate (BSc. or MSc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 15 years relevant engineering experience in Instrumentation and Automation competence in the Oil &amp; Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries.
 </li>
 <li>
 FEED and detailed Engineering deliverables in Brown field projects in Wellhead Towers, Process platforms and Islands where handling mechanical packages like chemical Injection packages, Biocide packages, Compressor Packages, Heater packages, Well Head Control Panel (WHCP), ESD/RTU panel, ICSS systems, Well head Oil production/Water Injection Instruments, SCADA Systems, High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS) etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 8 years in a Senior Role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Telecommunication knowledge would be an added advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have worked in FEED and EPC projects and delivered to ADNOC Group of Companies
 </li>
 <li>
 Working experience with reputed Engineering Consultant(s) would be an advantage
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Team player, smart-working, problem solver and can-do attitude
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluent in English language, Arabic speaking would be an added advantage.
