The Purpose<ul><li><p><br>

<p><b>Job Brief:</b></p><p>Are you an experienced Managed Pressure Drilling Engineer with strong offshore/onshore drilling expertise? Do you have hands-on experience with MPD systems and well control operations?</p><p>We are looking for a skilled <b>Managed Pressure Drilling Engineer</b> to join a reputed oil &amp; gas organization in <b>Kuwait</b>. The role involves planning, execution, and optimization of MPD operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling activities.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Plan, design, and execute Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) operations in accordance with well objectives and HSE standards.</li><li>Operate and monitor MPD systems including Rotating Control Devices (RCD), choke manifolds, and real-time pressure control equipment.</li><li>Analyze well data to maintain bottom-hole pressure within safe operating limits and mitigate drilling risks such as kicks, losses, and wellbore instability.</li><li>Coordinate with drilling, mud, logging, and well control teams to ensure seamless MPD integration.</li><li>Develop MPD procedures, contingency plans, and operational guidelines.</li><li>Troubleshoot MPD equipment and provide technical support during drilling operations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Prepare daily reports, post-well analysis, and performance evaluations related to MPD operations.</li><li>Support training and mentoring of junior engineers and rig personnel on MPD practices.</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum <b>5 years of experience</b> in drilling operations, with proven hands-on experience in <b>Managed Pressure Drilling</b>.</li><li>Strong knowledge of well control principles, drilling hydraulics, and pressure management techniques.</li><li>Experience working with MPD service providers and advanced drilling technologies.</li><li>Ability to interpret real-time drilling data and make sound engineering decisions under pressure.</li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Prior Middle East experience is an added advantage.</li></ul><p><b>Job Location: </b>Kuwait</p><p><b>Salary:</b> Negotiable</p><p><b>Type of Employment: </b>Full Time / Contract (as per project requirement)</p><p><b>What you can expect from the employer:</b></p><p>Vacation Air Ticket: <b>Provided for the candidate only</b></p><p>Other benefits, as per company policy and Kuwaiti labour law.</p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Application Question(s):</p><ul><li>Do you have hands-on experience in Managed Pressure Drilling operations?</li><li>Have you worked with MPD equipment such as RCDs and choke manifolds?</li><li>Are you experienced in well control and pressure management techniques?</li><li>Are you willing to work 12-hour shifts in Kuwait?</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
