 You are experienced in logistics with a focus on export, import, transportation and trade compliance. You will oversee the shipments of general cargo, valuables and spare parts from shipping origin (EU or CH) to POS (point of sales). You will ensure that transport, Custom clearance and delivery are completed in a timely manner in cooperation with our shipping partners.
 
 
 You will work with customer service to organize repair shipments to the regional hubs and coordinate customs clearance for the returned items. You will check for product and trade compliance of the materials to be sent for events and store renovations and ensure that the materials are delivered to the final points without any delay. You ensure the delivery of high standard logistics services in transport organization for internal and external Boutique transfers, photo shooting etc.
 
 
 You have a strong focus on business needs for our internal and external customers. Your handling of system based product flows is excellent. Your challenge includes fulfilment of the compliance rules concerning customs, warehouse and transportation.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of daily logistics and customs operations for Richemont Istanbul. Your main responsibilities will include:

 &emsp;&emsp;Managing all customs-related activities (import/export) across different maisons such as Cartier, Piaget, Alaia etc.. including preparing customs instructions, coordinating with customs brokers, and handling declarations in close collaboration with our Maisons. &emsp;&emsp;

 We are seeking an experienced
 
 General Manager
 
 to lead our regional logistics operations across Turkey. This senior leadership role is ideal for a dynamic logistics professional with deep expertise in supply chain management, operational excellence, and market expansion. The General Manager will oversee strategic planning, financial growth, and operational performance to drive sustainable success and regional competitiveness.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Strategic &amp; Operational Leadership
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead overall strategy, operations, and profit growth for logistics activities across Turkey;
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and execute a 3&ndash;5 year regional logistics strategy, covering market entry, network optimization, and new business lines (e-commerce logistics, cold chain, cross-border solutions);
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and last-mile operations to achieve cost efficiency and service excellence;
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with regional trade, customs, and labour regulations.

 Business Development &amp; Client Management

 Lead negotiations with key accounts and expand the regional customer base;
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention;

 Identify opportunities for new partnerships and revenue growth across multiple logistics verticals.

 Financial &amp; Performance Management

 Manage full P&amp;L responsibility for the region, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth;

 Implement lean management practices to optimize cost structures and improve operational efficiency;

 Establish and monitor key business metrics to track regional performance and ROI.

 Risk &amp; Compliance Management

 Ensure compliance with customs, trade, and transport regulations;

 Develop and maintain contingency plans for potential risks such as geopolitical shifts and supply chain disruptions.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (Master&rsquo;s preferred);
 </li>
 <li>
 10+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, including 5+ years in regional or senior leadership roles;
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven expertise in building and scaling logistics networks (warehousing, fleet, distribution);
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of Turkey market dynamics and customs procedures;
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with TMS/WMS systems and logistics analytics tools;
 </li>
 <li>
 Skilled in leading multicultural teams across diverse markets;
 </li>
 <li>
 Strategic thinker with the ability to make decisions in complex, regulated environments;
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluent in English; Turkish proficiency is an advantage.
