The Associate Manager, Ecommerce &amp; Product Operations, is a key player in driving seamless online product operations across multiple digital sales channels and brand sites. This role manages the full product information lifecycle, supports test product setup, troubleshoots middleware integrations with dropship partners, and oversees product feed coordination to enhance customer experience and maximize sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

Product Information Management (PIM):

<div>The Museum of Modern Art is currently accepting applications for a Product Coordinator with MoMA Retail. The role will provide essential support for the Retail Merchandising Team in addition to working cross-functionally with other retail and Museum departments. The Product Coordinator will assist the Retail Merchandising Team on all administrative tasks related to vendor set-up and maintenance, PLU creation and maintenance, purchase order creation, confirmation and maintenance, inventory maintenance, invoicing, and contract and sample trafficking. The Product Coordinator will also work with colleagues across the Museum to provide preparatory assistance and logistical support to ensure that daily retail merchandising operations and functions are smoothly executed.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Owns vendor set up process for the merchandising team by coordinating requisite paperwork with prospective vendors, confirming banking details, and setting up vendors in MoMA&rsquo;s relevant databases.</li>
<li>Sets up PLUs for products and performs all follow-up work needed regarding item maintenance, specifically min/max, price and attribute changes.</li>
<li>Creates purchase orders for all retail products and confirms receipt of purchase orders with the vendor.</li>
<li>Performs all follow-up work regarding purchase order creation, confirmation and completeness, including price change, order terms, shipping and delivery arrangements (on an as needed basis), and order maintenance.</li>
<li>Acts as a liaison between the vendor and the buyers when changes need to be made to purchase orders.</li>
<li>Maintains all vendor, order and inventory files including open orders, closed orders, product information, and item and vendor maintenance.</li>
<li>Acts as liaison between finance, vendors, and merchandising team to resolve any open invoice issues and communicates with all parties to assure everyone is updated on developments in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Processes invoices for sample and product development-related expenses.</li>
<li>Works with appropriate parties to resolve inventory and invoicing discrepancies.</li>
<li>Acts as liaison between vendors, freight forwarder, MoMA warehouse, the Logistic &amp; Merchandising Coordinator in our warehouse, selling locations, customer service, and product managers.</li>
<li>Ships out contracts, sample returns, samples for artists and designers, and gratis comps due to licensors per our royalty agreements.</li>
<li>Creates PLU lists for the Holiday Gift Guide, Pop-Ups, and other key Retail initiatives.</li>
<li>Processes and follows-up on all returns to vendors.</li>
<li>Handles merchandising mail distribution and provides communication backup as needed.</li>
<li>Performs any other duties reasonably related to the functions described above.</li>
</ul>
 Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and a minimum of three years&rsquo; relevant experience in a retail buying environment.</li>
<li>Extensive computer experience encompassing inventory management, databases, and spreadsheet programs, specifically Microsoft Office, google workspace and PeopleSoft.</li>
<li>Experience with Teamwork Inventory Management System is a strong plus.</li>
<li>Must be independent and very detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills.</li>
</ul>
Reports to: Associate Director, Merchandising and Product Development and other senior titles as assigned.

Salary: The salary for this position is $61,560 (gross) per annum.

 As the Coordinator of Digital Commerce &amp; Strategy you will be responsible for monitoring the product lifecycle, merchandising on site, and adding to all the retrospective categories to align with seasonal floor set updates.  Responsible for all aspects of the product life cycle inclusive of getting products live on time and in full.

 Consistently troubleshoot product not on site, missing information, inaccurate copy details and photography.

 Work alongside global teams on the execution and management of translations.

 Maintain attributions and navigation on website and ensure that all styles are merchandised accordingly.

 <li>
 Verify and track inventory status for products scheduled to be featured on homepage, landing page, email, or other marketing assets; suggest replacements as needed when inventory is not sufficient.

 <li>
 Partner with manager to determine linking strategy for on-site and email marketing assets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete thorough QA of all refresh and special project initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create trend shops based on seasonal strategies and serve up recommendations for ad-hoc shops as an avenue to drive product sales.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain strong visual presentation of product sequenced within categories.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review site daily to check for accuracy and identify opportunities for on-site optimization through improved customer experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with Manager and work closely with Buying and Planning teams to understand seasonal business strategy and create a best-in-class customer experience on-site.
 </li>

 Review weekly business reports to identify opportunities for maximizing selling through merchandising on website.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the manager in the day-to-day running of the categories online inclusive of preparing reports and briefs for larger meetings.
