The role ensures that all mechanical installations are completed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervise and monitor all mechanical works on-site, including HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.</li><li>Review contract documents, specifications, and approved shop drawings before execution.</li><li>Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.</li><li>Prepare material requisitions and coordinate procurement activities.</li><li>Ensure all materials delivered to site comply with approved specifications.</li><li>Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the approved schedule.</li><li>Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.</li><li>Prepare method statements, inspection requests (IRs), material inspection requests (MIRs), and work inspection requests (WIRs).</li><li>Coordinate testing and commissioning activities for all mechanical systems.</li><li>Attend client, consultant, subcontractor, and internal project meetings.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.</li><li>Monitor subcontractor performance and certify completed work.</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.</li><li>Coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor regarding variations, measurements, and claims.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and as-built drawings are maintained.</li><li>Enforce company HSE policies and ensure a safe working environment.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>UAE Equivalency (preferred).</li><li>Professional Engineering membership is an advantage.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP construction projects.</li><li>UAE experience is mandatory.</li><li>Experience in commercial, residential, and fit-out projects.</li><li>Experience in Dubai Airport projects will be an added advantage.</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.</li><li>Familiarity with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, and other UAE authority requirements.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Knowledge of project planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage.</li></ul>Soft Skills<ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.</li><li>Leadership and team management skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.</li><li>Good organizational and reporting skills.</li></ul>Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
