 About the Role
 
 
 
 We are looking for a strategic and hands-on HR Generalist to manage verticals within our People function &ndash; Performance Management, People Operations, HR Audits, and People Business Partnering. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of HR systems and processes, a bias for execution, and the ability to influence and drive outcomes across levels.
 
 
 You will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience and building scalable and compliant HR practices that support our fast-paced and evolving business.
 
 
 
 Roles &amp; Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 1. Performance Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead the design, communication, and implementation of WeWork India&rsquo;s performance management philosophy and processes (goal setting, quarterly check-ins, mid-year and annual reviews, along with calibration).
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with functional leaders to drive a culture of continuous feedback and accountability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Use performance insights to inform talent decisions, including development, promotions, and performance improvement plans.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 2. People Operations
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee core HR processes across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, employee movements, HRIS, and exit processes, and documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure process efficiency and employee experience through digitization, automation, and SOP alignment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure all HR operations adhere to statutory requirements and company policy.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 3. Audit &amp; Compliance
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead periodic internal HR audits, including documentation audits, POSH compliance, contract management, and policy adherence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to labour laws and employment regulations; drive timely submission of statutory reports and compliance documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with external consultants and internal teams to close audit gaps and build long-term controls.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 4. People Business Partnering
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Act as the strategic HR partner to a set of functions/business units, supporting workforce planning, engagement, org design, talent reviews, and manager effectiveness.

 <li>
 Counsel leaders and managers on employee relations, development, and retention strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive culture-building initiatives in alignment with the company&rsquo;s values and business priorities.

 Experience and Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 8-10 years of HR experience with exposure across HR operations, performance management, business partnering, and compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be open for a contractual role
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, HR systems, and performance frameworks.
 </li>

 Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
