 -Arrange appointments with the institution administration/officers, aiming to present our campaigns.
 
 
 -Book appointments with institutions so that our campaigns can take place through the company&rsquo;s Promoters.
 
 
 -Negotiate &amp; finalize entry fees, procedures, and approval procedures for the implementation of the activation program on their premises, regularly.
 
 
 -Ensure that the list of entry fees and all governmental approvals are updated throughout time, are valid, and accurate.
 
 
 -Report on the above institutions&rsquo; details, and other information as requested by the company&rsquo;s management.
 
 
 -Recruit and adequately train a team of promoters who will conduct the programs across different channel.
 
 
 -Understand and present to the company all the prevailing local regulations for conducting the above program in different institutions.
 
 
 -Ensure proper distribution of materials/samples/products to all the target groups of the respective programs.
 
 
 -Ensure items distributed are in good and presentable condition and if otherwise, report the same to the company.
 
 
 -Distribution of materials to the target audience should be in quantities as instructed by the company.
 
 
 -Perform quality control checks on promoters, their presentations and overall performance.
 
 
 -Create monitoring weekly / monthly and annual reports on the execution of each project.

Based at InterContinental Muscat, the Sales Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in managing a defined number of accounts and assisting the field Sales Executives/Managers in managing the hotel account portfolio, with the aim to generate and maximize hotel revenue and market share. Key to this role is building relationships and developing networks within the accounts portfolio in order to increase revenue and conversion.
A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you&rsquo;ll mostly be:

<li>Support the Field sales Team in the validation of the potential of assigned accounts and create account plans as per the IHG hotels standard operating procedures
</li><li>Assist in creating and implement marketing plans that drive measurable incremental revenue of the hotel.
</li><li>Support the Field Sales Team in gathering information on current and prospective clients / contacts to generate incremental business
</li><li>Maintain effective control of sales expenses
</li><li>Produce monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyse current/potential market and sales trends, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share and monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan.
</li><li>Use both account interaction and publicly available tools to monitor competitors' activities as it relates to both the hotel and the portfolio of accounts and share relevant information with key stakeholders in line with hotel procedures
</li><li>Provide feedback to management on changing market conditions, including competition and market trends
</li><li>Monitor awareness of competitor activities and use information when developing strategies.
</li><li>Communicate to his/her superior any issues encountered and other relevant information.</li>

Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Marketing, Business or Hospitality Management desired, and a minimum of one year of relevant Sales experience in Hospitality or a related service industry.
Expected to possess the following skills:
