Job SummaryBugree Steel &amp; Aluminium Contracting is seeking a skilled Technical Draftsman / Estimation Engineer with experience in aluminium, glass, fa&ccedil;ade, and steel works. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, Structural calculations, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, quotations, and material requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, sectional details, and as-built drawings.</li><li>Develop drawings for aluminium doors and windows, curtain walls, fa&ccedil;ades, ACP cladding, glass works, pergolas, louvers, handrails, gates, and structural steel works.</li><li>Review architectural, structural, and consultant drawings to identify project requirements.</li><li>Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, material schedules, cutting lists, and glass schedules.</li><li>Calculate aluminium profiles, glass, accessories, steel, labour, fabrication, installation, and transportation costs.</li><li>Prepare competitive quotations and detailed cost breakdowns.</li><li>Obtain and compare prices from suppliers and subcontractors.</li><li>Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, project engineers, production teams, and site supervisors.</li><li>Revise drawings and quotations according to consultant comments and project variations.</li><li>Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, quotations, approvals, and project documents.</li><li>Assist the procurement and project teams with material specifications and technical requirements.</li><li>Conduct site visits and take measurements whenever required.</li><li>Ensure all drawings and estimates comply with project specifications, approved systems, and UAE standards.</li></ul>Required Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 2&ndash;3 years of relevant experience in aluminium, glass, fa&ccedil;ade, or steel contracting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity take-off procedures.</li><li>Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.</li><li>Good understanding of aluminium systems, glass specifications, accessories, steel sections, and fabrication processes.</li><li>Strong numerical, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple enquiries and meet submission deadlines.</li><li>Knowledge of 3D design or estimation software will be an advantage.</li><li>UAE experience and a valid UAE driving licence will be preferred.</li></ul>Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per monthWork Location: In person
