Job Description 
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented MEP Estimator with a minimum of 5+ years of experience to join our tender &amp; estimation team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must possess deep technical knowledge of Electromechanical works and a proven track record within the UAE construction market.
You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use towers, ensuring compliance with local utility authorities' regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA) and the specific consultant specifications.
Tender Management &amp; Cost Planning:<ul><li>
Review tender documents (BOQ, Drawings, Specifications) and identify scope gaps, risks, and ambiguities.</li><li>
Prepare an accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for all MEP disciplines: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and BMS etcs.</li><li>
Develop comprehensive MEP works cost estimates for construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.</li><li>
Conduct site visits to assess logistical challenges, existing services, and storage constraints.</li></ul> 
UAE Authority Approvals &amp; Compliance:<ul><li>
Crucial: Hands-on experience with major stakeholder requirements and approval processes.</li><li>
A clear understanding of authority charges and infrastructure connection fees.</li><li>
Estimates include costs for Trakhees/DC/government and stakeholders' approval processes where applicable.</li></ul> 
Procurement &amp; Subcontractor Quotations:<ul><li>
Solicit and analyse quotations from approved MEP suppliers and subcontractors.</li><li>
Negotiate pricing with vendors specifically for high-value items: HVAC Chillers, Diesel Generators, LV Panels, Fire Fighting Pumps, and Transformers.</li></ul> 
Tender Submission:<ul><li>
Prepare the commercial proposal and ensure alignment with the technical proposal.</li><li>
Present the estimate to management for adjudication and final margin approval.</li><li>
Lead the clarification process post-tender submission.</li></ul> 
Software Proficiency:<ul><li>
Expert in Expert Estimator (Non-negotiable for most UAE contractors) OR PlanSwift / CostX.<ul><li>
