Position Summary:
The LA Phil is seeking a highly detail-oriented Part-Time Video Coordinator to join our Video Team within the Marketing Department. Primary Responsibilities 
<ul><li>
Maintaining status updates on shared project management software to ensure accuracy, visibility, and an efficient team workflow.</li><li>
Providing the first stage of quality assurance on all videos with particular attention to visual consistency by noting necessary missing elements and discrepancies between copy used across all Marketing materials, as well as by identifying opportunities to communicate information more clearly to audiences.</li><li>
Tracking, renaming, moving, copying, and re-organizing review and final delivery files and links for consistency and timely distribution.</li><li>
Editing, proofing, and exporting shortform content on an as-needed basis to support editor workloads.</li><li>
Updating and maintaining both older and upcoming content on the LA Phil&rsquo;s YouTube channels by uploading, optimizing for SEO best practices, and by managing metadata, titles, thumbnails, and end screens.</li><li>
Identifying shifting YouTube trends and keywords to recommend and implement a consistent, channel growth-oriented SEO strategy.</li><li>
Ingesting final deliverables from both internal teams and external vendors and tagging video content in our DAM for future use.</li><li>
Collecting and organizing artist assets and promotional copy; editing assets and re-cropping when needed.</li><li>
Writing, proofing, and scheduling video routing emails, calls, and meeting notes.</li><li>
Consolidating and clarifying video edit feedback with internal and external stakeholders and creative partners; communicating detailed changes to video stakeholders using concise language.</li><li>
Identifying and flagging project roadblocks, potentially difficult scheduling deadlines, and bandwidth issues.</li><li>
Researching and sourcing archival footage from our DAM and external hard drives for various projects.</li><li>

All materials and curriculum are provided, and our Curriculum Coordinator offers ongoing coaching, feedback, and check-ins throughout the year to support lesson pacing, classroom management, and student engagement.In addition to teaching science, the teacher will also lead a short Middle School Skills class for 6th and 7th graders. This course meets four periods per week, using one consistent lesson plan per week, and focuses on helping students strengthen executive functioning, organization, and study skills.Schedule:<ul><li>Monday&ndash;Thursday: 12:15 p.m. &ndash; 4:15 p.m.</li><li>Friday: 11:00 a.m. &ndash; 1:15 p.m.</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Teach middle school science to grades 6&ndash;8 (materials and curriculum provided).</li><li>6th Grade: Fundamentals of Life Science; 7th Grade: Anatomy and Physiology; 8th Grade: Fundamentals of Physical Science</li><li>Create an engaging classroom environment.</li><li>Teach weekly Middle School Skills lesson (executive functioning and study habits).</li><li>Supervise students during recess and other assigned duties.</li><li>Participate in regular coaching and collaboration with the Curriculum Coordinator.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Teaching experience, particularly with middle school students, strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.</li><li>Ability to commit to the schedule through mid-June.</li><li>Willingness to adhere to the school&rsquo;s professional dress code and values.</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>Hourly rate: $45&ndash;$50, commensurate with experience.</li></ul>To Apply: Please submit your r&eacute;sum&eacute; and a brief cover letter describing your teaching experience and interest in this position.Job Type: Part-timePay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hourExpected hours: 19 per weekWork Location: In person
