The Opportunity 
As our next Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering activities on one of our key projects, coordinating the technical design with the onsite installation through to the successful commissioning ensuring that we achieve our project aims and objectives safely, efficiently and to the highest quality. 
 
Some of the Key Tasks 
<ul><li>The Experienced on Site &ndash; Complete electrical design review to identify design gaps and deviations or contradictions in the specifications. Ensure that technical assessments are completed as required and any issues are resolved without delay.</li>
<li>The Go-To &ndash; Attend &amp; record regular supply chain meetings to ensure that progress is monitored &amp; maintained within the overall construction programme.</li>
<li>Meeting the Highest Standards &ndash; Ensuring our sites are compliant to all relevant HSE legislation, and adherent to our HSEQ Management systems (ISO 9001, 14001 &amp; 45001).</li>
<li>Team Collaboration &ndash; Proactively work with site management teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery of the project, such as reviewing the electrical installation with the BIM team to ensure the design is constructible with adequate space for installation and maintenance of all equipment and cabling.</li>

Who We&rsquo;re Looking For 
<ul><li>Relevant third level qualification and certification in Electrical Engineering.</li>
<li>10+ years&rsquo; electrical engineering experience, with both design and project delivery.</li>
<li>MUST HAVE Experience with both LV and MV systems in data centre or pharmaceutical environments.</li>
<li>Highly competent in compiling test packs, FTOP's and O&amp;Ms and presenting for approval.</li>
<li>Excellent IT skills, the ability to learn new systems with ease.</li>
<li>A self-starter and capable of working on your own initiative.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communications skills. High Proficiency in English language (written &amp; spoken).</li>

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. 
 
The position is responsible for providing on-site supervision and technical support for all electrical engineering aspects of the project. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and contract specifications.</div><div></div><div> 
We envisage success in this role to include;
</div><ul><li>Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and any other relevant electrical installations.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations in the country where the project is located.</li><li>
Coordinate with national utility providers (electricity, water, gas, etc.) to ensure smooth and timely connections. This includes liaising with utility companies, reviewing their connection procedures, and ensuring compliance with their requirements.</li><li>
Review and approve electrical shop drawings and material submittals from contractors and subcontractors to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.</li><li>
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress of electrical works and ensure adherence to approved plans and schedules.</li><li>
Inspect and test electrical installations at various stages of construction, including but not limited to: wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, and grounding systems.</li><li>
Investigate and resolve any electrical-related issues or defects that arise during construction, including coordination with contractors to rectify any deficiencies.</li><li>
Prepare and maintain detailed records of all electrical inspections, tests, and non-conformances.</li><li>
Ensure the safety of all electrical work on site. This includes implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any safety hazards identified.</li><li>

Job Description

Review the Electrical Shop drawings, material submittals, pre-qualifications, and technical calculations alongside method statements, ITPs, and Quality Checklists for acceptance.</li><li>
Ensure that the quality of all Electrical works carried out at the project site is as per the client's requirements and in compliance with the project quality plan (QPP) &amp; Inspection Test Plan (ITP).</li><li>
Overseeing the construction process using technical expertise and management skills.</li><li>
Conduct all required FATs and SATs per applicable standards and manufacturer&rsquo;s instructions.</li><li>
Conduct the Testing and Commissioning phase in line with the project specification manufacturer&rsquo;s instructions.</li><li>
Monitor and control the day-to-day activities of the Electrical Engineers &amp; inspectors i.e., site work inspection as well as inspection of the materials delivered in the Contractor&rsquo;s store.</li><li>
Issuing Site Observation &amp; Potential NCR when the specification or procedural requirements are not met/violating the compliance of the requirements with Project Technical requirements.</li><li>
Check documentation complies with design criteria, IFC, Shop Drawings /Client/ and standards.</li><li>
Attending weekly quality meetings with the construction team, raising the site quality issues, trying to mitigate them, and warning the hazard to overcome the quality issues. Pushing the contractor to close the open WIR, MIR, and site observation by taking corrective action.</li><li>
