Job Overview</b></p>
<p>
The Lead Process Engineer shall be responsible for leading and delivering basic engineering (Pre-FEED/FEL-2 and FEED/FEL-3) for refinery core processing units. The role ensures high-quality process design, technical integrity, and alignment with project requirements, safety standards, licensor guidelines, and client expectations. Lead basic engineering of refinery core process units (e.g., CDU/VDU, FCCU, Hydrocrackers, Hydrotreaters, Reformer, Coker/Crackers) in greenfield and brownfield set-up.</p>

In your role you are expected to demonstrate your proven track record in maintaining proper resourcing in terms of capacity and competence as well as in well organizing projects with proper work sharing, tracking of progress &amp; coordination with Inter disciplines and counter parts/client.</p>

Responsibilities and Duties</b></p>

<li><div>Lead development of Process Design Basis, Heat and Material Balance (H&amp;MB), PFDs, P&amp;IDs, utility summaries, and process descriptions for core refinery/petrochemical units.</div>

<li><div>Define design and operating conditions, equipment duty specifications, and preliminary sizing and validation of distillation columns, reactors, exchangers, compressors, furnaces.</div>

Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, piping, control, HSE, civil, electrical, project controls).</p>

<li><div>Develop, validate, and maintain rigorous process simulation models using HYSYS, PRO/II, or equivalent.</div>

<li><div>Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity studies, debottlenecking evaluations, and design optimization.</div>

<li><div>Ensure accuracy of utility consumption, energy integration opportunities, and emission estimates.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Provide process engineering deliverables for capital projects: feasibility studies, FEL stages, PFDs, P&amp;IDs, heat and material balances, equipment sizing, and process control strategies.</div>

<li><div>Support the development of the cost estimates and economic analysis.</div>

<li><div>Review and approve design packages from EPC contractors and vendors.</div>

<li><div>Lead commissioning and performance testing of new or revamped units.</div>
