 As the Services Procurement (SOW Management) Specialist manager you will:
 
 
 ● Develop partnering relationships with the client&rsquo;s SOW business owner community and become well versed in the historical and projected buying needs of the departments supported by the MSP team.
 
 
 ● Act as a sourcing agent, mediator, negotiator, and SOW author on behalf of the client&rsquo;s SOW business owners project buyer&rsquo;s behalf to support the client&rsquo;s competitive bidding process(es). You will operate as an extension of the clients procurement team and be fully aligned to their prevailing category and supplier strategies.
 
 
 ● Process all procurement requisition activity through the use of a Vendor Management System (VMS) and any related procurement technologies which may be specific to an individual client program.
 
 
 ● Develop appropriate competency knowledge of the program&rsquo;s SOW services supplier community to assist with sourcing recommendations.
 
 
 ● Perform analysis to include cost savings reporting and other quality or efficiency data to help improve operational processes.

 ● Establish and maintain a proactive, positive working relationship with SOW business owners through regular phone and in-person contact (site visits may be occasionally required) within assigned market area / service category.

 1. Procurement Leadership &amp; Strategy

 Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with hospital goals.

 non-medical and medical categories

 Non-Medical:
 
 Printing stationery, biomedical spares, engineering consumables, housekeeping items.

 Consignment materials (on challan basis), implants (Cath Lab, OT - Spine, Ortho).

 2. Category Management

 Coordinate with clinical teams (Cath Lab, OT, Ortho, Spine) for timely implant availability.

 Maintain vendor challan records, usage tracking, and GRN posting.

 Ensure compliance with consignment and implant traceability standards.
 </li>

 Non-Medical Purchase:

 Ensure reliable sourcing of administrative and facility management items.
 </li>

 Maintain stock levels for consumables and critical non-clinical supplies.

 3. Vendor Development &amp; Management

 Identify, evaluate, and develop a high-performing vendor base for all categories.

 Negotiate rate contracts, credit terms, SLAs, and penalty clauses.

 Conduct regular vendor audits and performance reviews.
 </li>

 4. Purchase Operations &amp; Compliance

 Ensure transparent and compliant procurement processes following hospital SOPs, NABH/JCI guidelines.

 Oversee documentation: PO generation, approvals, invoice matching, delivery tracking, and payment coordination.
 </li>

 Maintain accurate procurement logs and audit trails.
 </li>

 5. Budgeting &amp; Cost Optimization

 Monitor purchase budgets and control costs across categories without compromising quality.

 Analyze consumption patterns and suggest bulk procurement strategies.

 Implement value engineering and alternative sourcing practices.

 6. ERP &amp; Systems Integration

 Oversee and optimize use of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Hospital ERP).

 Generate and analyze MIS reports for consumption, purchases, pending POs, vendor performance.
 </li>

 7. Team Development &amp; Stakeholder Management

 Lead a team of purchase executives and officers.
 </li>

 Train staff on procurement best practices and compliance.
 </li>

 Liaise with key stakeholders &ndash; clinical, biomedical, engineering, and administration teams &ndash; to anticipate demand and avoid stock-outs.
