<p><b>About NRTC Group:</b></p><p>&middot; Glorious legacy of over 50 years in the U.A.E</p><p>&middot; Growth from humble beginnings to an industry pioneer</p><p>&middot; Leading importer and exporter of fruits and vegetables.</p><p>&middot; A dynamic group of 3000 associates and growing!!</p><p>&middot; Modern storage facilities compliant with ISO standards.</p><p>&middot; Fleet of 300+ vehicles.</p><p><b>Job Role: </b>Project Manager</p><p><b>Location:</b> Dubai, UAE</p><p><b>Reporting to:</b> Head Of Supply Chain</p><p>We are looking for an experienced <b>Project Manager</b> to lead the activation, commissioning, and operational readiness of a <b>cold store project</b> in the UAE.</p><p><b>Job Purpose</b></p><p>The Project Manager will be responsible for the <b>end-to-end activation and go-live of the cold store facility</b>, ensuring that the infrastructure, refrigeration systems, warehouse operations, technology, manpower, processes, compliance requirements, and supporting systems are fully ready for commercial operations.</p><p>The role will coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, IT, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Food Safety, HR, Finance, and senior management to ensure the project is delivered <b>on time, within budget, and in line with operational and cold-chain requirements</b>.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Manage the project from completion stage through commissioning and go-live.</li><li>Develop and monitor project timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, and critical dependencies.</li><li>Coordinate cold store, refrigeration, MEP, warehouse equipment, IT, ERP/WMS, and e-commerce system readiness.</li><li>Ensure efficient workflows for receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, dispatch, and returns.</li><li>Manage contractors, consultants, suppliers, and service providers.</li><li>Conduct testing, UAT, trial runs, and operational simulations before launch.</li><li>Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory, food safety, hygiene, and cold-chain requirements.</li><li>Coordinate manpower planning, training, SOP development, and operational readiness.</li><li>Ensure all critical equipment, systems, permits, documentation, and approvals are completed before go-live.</li><li>Provide regular project progress reports and escalation of risks to senior management.</li></ul><p><b>Candidate Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Minimum <b>5 years of direct project management experience in cold storage, refrigerated warehouses, temperature-controlled logistics, or similar projects</b>.</li><li>Proven experience managing a cold store project through <b>commissioning, activation, and operational go-live</b>.</li><li><b>Fruits &amp; vegetables, fresh produce, food trading, FMCG, or perishable-goods experience in the UAE is highly preferred.</b></li><li>Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, cold rooms, warehouse operations, MEP coordination, and cold-chain requirements.</li><li>Experience with <b>ERP, WMS, e-commerce fulfilment systems, and warehouse technology</b> is preferred.</li><li>Strong experience in contractor, vendor, budget, timeline, and stakeholder management.</li><li>UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.</li></ul><p><b>Education &amp; Certification</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.</li><li><b>PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent recognized Project Management certification is mandatory.</b></li><li>Cold Chain, Supply Chain, HACCP, Lean Six Sigma, or Health &amp; Safety certification is an added advantage.</li></ul><p><b>Key Skills</b></p><p>Project Management | Cold Storage | Refrigeration | E-Commerce Fulfilment | Warehouse Operations | MEP Coordination | ERP/WMS | Budget Control | Vendor Management | Commissioning | Food Safety | Cold Chain | Operational Readiness</p><p>Candidates with proven experience in activating <b>cold stores or fulfilment facilities for fruits, vegetables, fresh produce, or other perishable food businesses in the UAE</b> will be given preference.</p><p><b>What do we offer:</b></p><p>&middot; Competitive salary.</p><p>&middot; Medical Insurance.</p><p>&middot; Opportunities for career growth.</p><p><b>Note to Candidates:</b></p><p>&middot; Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</p><p>&middot; Prefer candidates who can join immediately.</p><p>Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month</p><p>Application Question(s):</p><ul><li>Are you available to join immediately?</li><li>What is your expected salary in AED?</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Project management: 5 years (Preferred)</li><li>FMCG or ECommerce: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul><p>License/Certification:</p><ul><li>UAE Driving License (Preferred)</li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
