Material Inspector

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Materials Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to perform the necessary tests, checking the arrived materials to ensure compliance with the project&rsquo;s requirements and specification and inspection of all used materials on site.<div><div><div><div>
What You'll Be Doing:<ul><li>
Will supervise all the tests and sampling on site.</li><li>
Witness all the laboratory tests and in situ tests by contractor or third-party tester on the materials and prepare the samples for testing.</li><li>
Coordinate with the Work Inspector in charge of the work to confirm approval of the work for testing and discuss areas of concern.</li><li>
Perform sampling and testing in quick and efficient way to avoid undue delay to the Contractor&rsquo;s operations.</li><li>
Perform regular checks of delivered materials to the site for conformance with the approved source or supplier.</li><li>
Get involved in quality control and quality assurance.</li><li>
Assists the Senior Work Inspector (Materials) and the Senior Materials Engineer in all activities related to review, approval, testing and acceptance of the used materials.</li></ul>
What Required Skills You'll Bring:<ul><li>
Technical Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized Colleage/University.</li><li>
More than 5 years of experience in similar nature and out of which, with a minimum of three (3) years&rsquo; experience on roads, bridges, concrete and utilities projects.</li><li>
Must possess the ability to read working drawings, related specifications, inspection and test plans and method statements and be capable of enforcing such specifications and contract drawings.</li><li>
Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.</li><li>
Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project team.</li></ul></div></div></div></div>

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Inspector to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Civil Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our infrastructure and road projects.<ul><li>
The Civil Inspector will be responsible for day-to-day supervision and inspection of stormwater drainage and microtunneling works. The role ensures all civil activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and authority requirements.</li><li>
Review and apply all applicable codes, standards, and project specifications related to stormwater and microtunneling works (e.g., pipelines, shafts, chambers, culverts, and outfalls).</li><li>
Conduct daily inspections to verify that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved shop drawings, method statements, and specifications.</li><li>
Monitor and inspect excavation, shoring, backfilling, microtunneling drives, shaft construction, reinforcement, concrete pouring, waterproofing, and finishing of stormwater structures.</li><li>
Verify alignment, gradients, and levels for stormwater pipelines, chambers, and manholes to ensure compliance with design.</li><li>
Ensure the Contractor&rsquo;s works comply with Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA, and relevant authority standards and approved quality control procedures.</li><li>
Record and report daily manpower, equipment, and material deliveries on-site.</li><li>
