Your role</h2>
Health, Safety and Environmental Engineer<ul><li>
Adhere to and implement AtkinsR&eacute;alis internal HSE management system requirements and procedures for AtkinsR&eacute;alis site team.</li><li>
Adhere to project HSE requirements and implement this to AtkinsR&eacute;alis team.</li><li>
Monitor the compliance of all WSA staff with the applicable safety standards and company's procedures and bring to the attention of the Project Manager any safety violations by WSA site team for their further action.</li><li>
Monitor, assess and report on Contractor and Sub Contractors HSE compliance with the project HSE requirements as per the Contract and HSE legislation / best practice.</li><li>
Immediately bring to the attention of the AtkinsR&eacute;alis PM the critical and outstanding safety issues for their further actions.</li><li>
Conduct and co-ordinate regular safety training for WSA staff.</li><li>
Carry out daily site HSE tours with Contractor HSE staff and highlight findings.</li><li>
Issue Safety Enforcement Notices (SEN) as per applicable AtkinsR&eacute;alis SEN procedure.</li><li>
Follow up with the Contractor on outstanding HSE issues, including SEN's'and ensuring prompt closure with adequate evidence of compliance.</li><li>
Review and comment of the Contractors HSE Plans. Advise the Contractor to update the site safety plan when necessary.</li><li>
Review and comment on Contractors risk assessments and work method statements.</li><li>
Develop and update AtkinsR&eacute;alis HSE documents (the Safety File), e.g. HSE Plan, HSE specific site risk assessment, office risk assessment, office fire risk assessment, etc.</li><li>
Conduct accident and incident investigations for AtkinsR&eacute;alis staff.</li><li>
Compile accident report and incident statistics.</li><li>
Chair weekly safety meetings where required with the Contractor and other parties as necessary.</li><li>
Issue MOM on time (within 48 hours). Report any outstanding and critical safety issues or lack of action by the Contractor in the weekly progress meetings.</li><li>
Prepare and maintain AtkinsR&eacute;alis HSE registers, e.g. training, induction, SEN, inspection reports, accident/Incident, and others as required.</li><li>
Report any accident on site immediately to AtkinsR&eacute;alis UAE Health and Safety Manager and Line Manager.</li><li>
Communicate, coordinate and seek any advice from AtkinsR&eacute;alis UAE Health and Safety Manager as required.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
About you</h2>
Qualification &amp; Certification<ul><li>
Minimum HSE qualifications with NEBOSH Diploma/IGC.</li></ul><ul><li>

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently looking to fill a position of Specialist Civil Structural Engineer for an Offshore Project to be based in UAE ( Abu Dhabi) as soon as the administrative processes are completed, will then relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi .
Position Summary
The Specialist Civil Structural Engineer is responsible for the engineering, design, analysis, verification, and integrity management of civil and structural systems associated with an Offshore Water Injection Project. The role ensures that offshore platforms, topsides, foundations, pipe racks, modules, and supporting structures are designed and executed in compliance with project specifications, international codes, safety requirements, and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering &amp; Design
<ul><li>Lead civil and structural engineering activities throughout FEED, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.</li>
<li>Perform structural analysis and design for:
<ul><li>Offshore platforms and jackets</li>
<li>Topside structures</li>
<li>Water injection modules</li>
<li>Pipe supports and pipe racks</li>
<li>Equipment foundations</li>
<li>Access structures, helidecks, and crane foundations</li>
</ul></li><li>Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and material requisitions.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as API, AISC, ISO, DNV, Eurocodes, and company specifications.</li>
</ul>Offshore Facilities &amp; Water Injection Systems
<ul><li>Evaluate structural impacts of water injection facilities, pumps, pressure vessels, pipelines, and associated equipment.</li>
<li>Verify structural adequacy for static, dynamic, fatigue, seismic, transportation, lifting, and installation loads.</li>
<li>Assess brownfield modifications and tie-ins to existing offshore assets.</li>
<li>Support platform upgrades and life-extension studies.</li>
</ul>Project Execution
<ul><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, piping, marine, construction, and installation engineers.</li>
<li>Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.</li>
<li>Support procurement activities and technical bid evaluations.</li>
<li>Monitor engineering progress and resolve technical issues during project execution.</li>
</ul>Construction &amp; Installation Support
<ul><li>Review fabrication and installation methodologies.</li>
<li>Support offshore surveys, inspections, structural assessments, and site engineering activities.</li>
<li>Provide technical clarifications during fabrication and offshore construction.</li>
<li>Participate in commissioning and project handover activities.</li>
</ul>Integrity &amp; Compliance
<ul><li>Conduct structural integrity assessments and fitness-for-service evaluations.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Support corrosion mitigation and structural inspection programs.</li>

</ul>Required Qualifications
