Job Description:

Blue Water Thinking is seeking Senior Contract Support Specialists to support a variety of acquisition support services. The Senior Contract Support Specialist will assist with strategy, planning, data analysis, requirements and/or documentation development, preparing Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE), compliance reviews for acquisition documents and forms in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist with advisory support and assisting functional area technical experts with the development of writing requirements into sound, sufficient Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS) and/or Orders.</li>
<li>Assist with acquisition planning, solicitation preparation, market research and analysis, source selection document preparation.</li>
<li>Prepare contract modifications and documents, cost/price analysis, development of analytics, create reports, preparation of contract termination documents.</li>
<li>Successful performance will require a wide variety of associated procurement skills and activities including research, analysis, data entry, writing, document preparation, editing, scanning, document management, phone calls, faxing, filing, and other activities necessary to complete the tasks assigned.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor's degree with a major in any field; or at least twenty-Four (24) semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management.</li>

Construction/Architect-Engineering (AE) Specialized Experience Requirements:

</li><li>Maintain daily meter and service logs, stock and organize convenience copier areas, and manage firm conference and meeting rooms.
</li><li>Assist facilities with box moves, office moves, occupant moves, and light maintenance duties.
</li><li>Perform occasional cleaning duties and may require periodic overtime on nights and weekends, including off-hour emergency responses.

</li></ul>Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands:
<ul><li>Frequent exposure to copier/fax machine noise, toner, and changes in room temperature.
</li><li>Exposure to various weather conditions when walking between buildings and potential for injuries or accidents.
</li><li>Dealing with tight deadlines and quick turnaround times imposes high stress levels.
</li><li>Some physical effort required, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, and lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 lbs. and pushing or pulling machines on wheels weighing up to 400 lbs.
