Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Assistant IT Auditor to join our professional team in Manama, Bahrain. This is a full-time position, ideal for an individual looking to develop their career in IT audit within a forward-thinking and expanding company. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the IT audit function, helping to assess and enhance the effectiveness of our risk management, control, and governance processes across our diverse technological landscape.&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsibilities<ul><li>Reports to an assigned immediate superior and ultimately to the Group Internal Audit Manager (GIAM).</li><li>Uphold the Company’s Code of Ethics and the Institute of Internal Auditor’s Code of Ethics specifically the principles of Integrity, Objectivity, Confidentiality and Competency.</li><li>Conduct IT audit engagements following the internal audit department’s policies and procedures e.g., engagement planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up.</li><li>Participates in the opening and closing meetings with engagement clients.</li><li>Assists in the conduct of assurance engagements where the work of IT specialist is required.</li><li>Assists in the conduct of consulting engagements e.g., investigations, performance improvement studies, due diligence, etc., where the work of IT specialist is required.</li><li>Review IT purchases such as but not limited to: Laptops and desktop computers, Mobile phones, Internet connectivity, Annual Maintenance Services related to IT assets, etc.</li><li>Do other tasks related to the functions of internal audit department, assigned by the GIAM.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications<ul><li>A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.</li><li>Previous experience in an IT audit, internal audit, or IT risk management role is highly advantageous.</li><li>Familiarity with IT general controls and application control concepts.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail.</li><li>The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.</li><li>A desire to pursue or progress with professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM) is desirable.</li></ul>
