Job Title:Storekeeper &ndash; Catering / Food Services SectorJob Purpose:The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring food supplies, beverages, and catering materials while ensuring proper documentation, stock accuracy, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming food items and materials according to purchase orders and delivery notes.</li><li>Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, labeling, expiry dates, and hygiene standards) for dry, chilled, and frozen items.</li><li>Maintain accurate stock levels by updating records for receiving, issuance, and daily stock movement.</li><li>Organize the store in a clean and systematic manner to facilitate easy access and control.</li><li>Monitor stock expiry dates and apply FIFO / FEFO standards to reduce waste.</li><li>Coordinate with kitchen and operation teams to provide required items on time.</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and submit them to the supervisor/management.</li><li>Conduct regular physical stock counts and report any discrepancies.</li><li>Track consumption trends to avoid shortages or overstock.</li><li>Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP and company policies).</li><li>Safeguard stock against loss, damage, or theft by applying proper control procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in catering, hospitality, or food services.</li><li>Knowledge of HACCP and food storage requirements.</li><li>Familiarity with inventory systems and MS Office (especially Excel).</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li></ul>Reporting to:Store Supervisor / Operation Manager / Catering ManagerSkills:Inventory Control &ndash; HACCP Knowledge &ndash; Time Management &ndash; Communication &ndash; MS Office &ndash; Stock Rotation (FIFO/FEFO)Job Type: Full-timePay: &#65020;1,500.00 - &#65020;2,200.00 per month
