Inspects various facets of construction work on the jobsite and performs continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.</b></p><p></p><p><b>

Ensure that all construction works are performed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications.</p></li><li><p>

<div><div><div><p>WSP is seeking a Roads / Landscape Inspector to join our Abu Dhabi team and support the construction supervision of major transportation, public realm, landscape, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting roadworks, landscape works, streetscape elements, and associated infrastructure to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and authority requirements.</p></div></div></div>
<br><div><div><ul><li>Inspect roads, highways, landscape, public realm, and streetscape works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
</li><li>Monitor site activities related to pavements, kerbs, sidewalks, hardscape, softscape, irrigation systems, and associated infrastructure.
</li><li>Review contractor inspection requests and verify completed works prior to approval.
</li><li>Conduct inspections for road construction activities including earthworks, subgrade, subbase, asphalt, road markings, and road furniture.
</li><li>Inspect landscape works including planting, irrigation networks, hardscape features, public realm elements, and street furniture.
</li><li>Verify that construction materials and workmanship comply with approved standards and specifications.
</li><li>Witness testing and inspection activities related to roadworks, irrigation systems, and landscape installations.
</li><li>Coordinate with Resident Engineers, Site Engineers, contractors, and utility stakeholders.
</li><li>Identify non-conforming works and assist in implementing corrective actions.
</li><li>Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements on site.

</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience as a Roads Inspector, Landscape Inspector, or Roads/Landscape Inspector on infrastructure projects.
</li><li>Proven experience working within construction supervision consultancy environments.
</li><li>Strong knowledge of road construction, landscape installation, irrigation systems, public realm works, and streetscape development.
</li><li>Experience inspecting roadworks, asphalt works, paving, kerbs, footpaths, soft landscaping, and hard landscaping works.
</li><li>Familiarity with Abu Dhabi and UAE authority standards, specifications, and construction practices.
</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
</li><li>Experience witnessing testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
</li><li>Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

 Reading and understanding the package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures, together with any associated updates.</p><ul><li>Ensuring the contractor(s) are complying with the standards and specifications of the contract documents through observation, measurements, and testing as well as tracking quality assurance progress.</li><li>Maintaining records of the contractor manpower and equipment daily resources.</li><li>Undertaking all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or the Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).</li><li>Documenting, in the areas assigned to the Inspector, the contractor&rsquo;s personnel and equipment, activities observed, location of activities, reason for activities, and means and methods utilised.</li><li>Additionally, report on materials delivery and following and implementing any site instructions made by the leader. Well versed in interpreting and executing Structural related drawings.</li><li>
Have the knowledge of the related authorities requirements</li><li>
High-Rise Residential and Commercial buildings experience required with strong background in start-up, execution and handover of major projects.</li></ul><br>
